Back for a LOONNNNGG update! :wiggle: Does the babe beside me look familiar? =) Yeah! She’s Wenya, the talented gal behind the successful site WenyaDesigns 
Also my cam-whore and food-tasting kaki haha :D I remembered we knew each other through Blogskins :blush: I’m sorry to start this post flooded with our pictures hee But… What else can 2 girls do besides cam-whoring?! hmm
Self-explanatory :no: Overdosing ourselves with pastries @ Canel Ptisserie Chocolaterie :wiggle: Good comments about this pastry cafe have been plastered almost everywhere hmm So… I decided to check it out myself :grr:
The display alone made me head over heels :D Does looking at it make you drool too? :p Save that drop for the last :wiggle:
You know, I can be such a bitch when it comes to dining out. I expect the best service from all the restaurants I visit. Never mind about hawker centers though hee I suppose it’s a habit I’ve acquired ever since I worked @ Equinox But well, of course I have my own limits. I don’t wish to have saliva or other additional stuff in my food shocked You’ll never know how evil some people are :doh:
We reached Canele @ Paragon at 2.44pm and were told that the waiting time is at least 20 – 30 minutes, since there are only like 4 tables in the cafe? :doh: I left my contact with them and was expecting the call to arrive in 30 minutes time. But hell not wth It was already more than 40 minutes and I gave them a call to check on it. No tables available yet 
The patrons in the cafe were happily chit-chatting with their finished plates laying on the tables. Aren’t those ?? behind the counter supposed to clear them? wtf Already 4.15pm, we went into the cafe and one of the waitresses told us that she couldn’t chase those customers away. Well yes, I agree with that. But without clearing their plates (and sitting behind the counter laughing away with her colleagues), isn’t it like telling them “you may stay as long as you wish”? hmm It gives me the feeling that since most of the customers buy takeaways, they don’t even give a damn about dine-in patrons like US wth
DETERMINED to get a taste of their desserts, we took a London cab to their main branch @ Robertson Walk hoping to get better treatment from them. Upon stepping in, we were not even greeted by any of the staff :doh: That is when I spotted Mr. Chef Pang, the man behind the pastries. He took a glance and ignored us completely after that :x Well, is that the kind of attitude we are getting from a renowned patissier? Even after we settled down, no one ever came to offer iced water wtf Both of us were sitting there like 2 idiots, waiting for someone to at least notice us! CRAP! Come to think of it, are they another The Chocolate Factory? hmm
Even Botak Jones is way BETTER than them LOR! At least they would ask our opinion about the food constantly!! Shame on them! wth
I’m not a coffee person :s Thus, I ordered their Berry Black The light aromatic smell and sweetness of the berries are good companion for pastries =)
Exotique for the both of us 
The name itself suits this dish perfectly. I don’t know what is that crispy thing called, but it certainly tasted good :blush: The sorbet is a mixture of passion fruit and bananas =) A perfect combination for fussy consumers like me :p Grab a spoonful and eat it with the caramelized banana and crepe and you’ll be in heaven
Chloe, a very beautiful name for a tasty dessert :D Made from fresh peaches, white chocolate and cream, with a tinge of lemon :blush: The soft and fluffy sponge cake melts in your mouth the moment you eat it =)
Gteaux Chocolat The thick and creamy dark chocolate lingers in your mouth after every mouthful =) I wonder how much chocolate they had used hmm Really CHOCOLATEY!! I’m not lying :drunk:
