HitChoo - You Made My Day Monday, 4 June 07

The other day, I was browsing through Kevin’s blog when I came upon this site, Hitchoo.com Isn’t the name catchy and cute to pronounce? H-I-T-C-H-O-O-O-O-O-O

So, I went to click the link and was immediately attracted by the reddish tone and captivating logo on the top right hand corner The logo is really cute isn’t it? Simply created with a bold sans-serif font, 2 stick men, pretty hearts and TADA!! The message is clearly understood for all

The 8 free cards arrived on the next working day upon registration. Super efficient

I clearly remember the last time where I had to ask for a cute girl’s number for Jeremy. He had spotted her sitting alone at McDonald’s over at East Coast park. He claimed that she kept stealing glances at him I went over and asked for her number, but she seemed reluctant. After persuading her further, she agreed and only wrote down her e-mail address on a piece of crumpled paper we had given to her Isn’t that pathetic and unglam?

Luckily for now, there’s Hitchoo to solve your problems. Start making new friends now! Tell someone, “You made my day!”

Isn’t Hitchoo fun? I seen so many web startups but this one is particularly refreshing. I hope it makes it, though it’s tough in a small Singapore market. They might need to expand internationally if possible.

Nicely put together blog by the way.

Yup, but are they making a loss by giving out those free cards? I mean, where are they gonna get their revenue from?

Don’t think they will throw away. They might be curious about it. But still, it’s a good way to break the ice

I read up about this recently on the newspapers after reading your post. And I think they get their revenue from selling more cards at $18 per dozen after they finish the free cards.

Anyway, I love this new layout~!
