All thanks to Fr3b.com, I was invited as one of the 4 featured bloggers to attend the Natural Skin Care Workshop held at Jayeon Miyin, which is located at China Square Central. We get the chance to tailor make our own body and face soap, cleansing oil and the current highly raved BB cream!

As explained to me by one of the ladies there, Jayeon Miyin means “All Natural” in Korean. The ingredients they use are
100% All Natural, without any preservatives or colorings! :erm:

This is the first ever event/workshop that I had attended for CozyCot. Being an amateur in makeup, I am glad that I was selected for this event.

The latest products were introduced to us namely Cleansemax, Dewy Effect Lotion, Dewy Effect Emulsion and Dewy Effect Creamy Eye Gel.
Cleansemax It doubles up as a cleanser and makeup remover. It’s light and non-greasy on the skin. Water is NOT needed to use it. We just had to use it like a normal facial foam and wipe it clean with a cotton pad.
Dewy Effect Lotion They called it softener, a.k.a. the toner which we normally use. I was preparing for a stinging effect on my face cos I have really sensitive skin but surprisingly, it doesn’t at all. It’s gentle on my skin and at the same time, removed the remaining impurities on my face.
Dewy Effect Emulsion Just a normal moisturizer for the face.
Dewy Effect Creamy Eye Gel It feels really cooling on my eye area.

Essential stuff needed for the workshop.

Consists of eyebrow pencils, lipsticks, concealers, mascaras, etc.

The eye palette.

Our door gift.
PROS
- Pamela (the speaker) is really informative. She tried to make the whole session fun by cracking jokes.
- She gave us other kinds of tips like putting on falsies, fastest way to put on foundation, creating smoky eyes effect, etc. I hope to put them into use in the future.
CONS
- Workshop is too lengthy and started pretty late.
- Lighting in the room is really bad, we can’t really see what she is doing on the faces of the volunteers.
Overall, I had a great experience and learnt a lot of stuff through this workshop.

Ever since Ong Sir found a job, I find myself hanging around his house either playing mahjong, watching DVD or SCV during weekends :( While he’s slogging away at work, I secretly brought my blind date to the Chunk Fest which was held at Fort Canning Green :secret: We had a hard time searching for that place and were aimlessly wandering around that area for nearly 30 minutes. I feel as though I was training for a 10km marathon  Bless our tired feet. Thank God we are not wearing heels :hehe:

FINALLY reached our destination! We were already perspiring like hell :disbelief:
