All thanks to Fr3b.com, I was invited as one of the 4 featured bloggers to attend the Natural Skin Care Workshop held at Jayeon Miyin, which is located at China Square Central. We get the chance to tailor make our own body and face soap, cleansing oil and the current highly raved BB cream! :lol:

As explained to me by one of the ladies there, Jayeon Miyin means “All Natural” in Korean. The ingredients they use are 100% All Natural, without any preservatives or colorings! :erm:

Our instructor Susan, is a native Korean who speaks really good English. Not only is she informative, she’s also very friendly! woot

Here is an array of carrier oils that they have, all the way imported from Korea – Avocado Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Grape Seed Oil, etc. Other than these, they have another huge collection of essential oils! shocked

SOAP MAKING

First and foremost, we were handed out materials for the soap making session. What we have here are different kinds of soap moulds, natural colorings, soap base, etc.

After mixing with Vitamin E, glycerin and other ingredients, we are ready to pour them into the soap moulds. I chose Hello Kitty ones! :D

TADAAAAAAA! Aren’t they cute? They have a lovely rose scent. *whiffs*

CLEANSING OIL

Making of the cleansing oil is pretty easy. We just had to add in the carrier oils, warm it up and our cleansing oil is ready to be used! =)

BB CREAM

This is the most tedious as it requires extra precaution when adding in the powder and other stuff. The hardest part is whereby both the oil and water have to be at the same temperature simultaneously before mixing them together.

A mixture of carrier oil, Vitamin E, powder, etc.

Add the warm water and mix it with the powder. At the same time, stir at a constant pace and direction and we are done making the BB cream! :hehe:
