HungryGoWhere Big Eat Out!

In conjunction with Explore Singapore! 2008 and National Heritage Board, HungryGoWhere brings you a one-day only event: BIG EAT OUT! at The Peranakan Museum on 22 Nov 2008! ;)

You’ll get the chance to browse through more than 30 stalls at the Flea Market, a chance to discover the history of Peranakans, enjoy shows by balloon artists and face painters plus all other entertainments lined up just for you! :) And also not to forget, a chance for you to indulge in Heritage Hawker foods from around Singapore while you go on a spree at the museum! =) Best of all, your contributions will support the Andrew and Grace Home charity! woot

Where: Peranakan Museum Carpark, 39 Armenian Street (next to Substation)
Ticket Sales: To be purchased on event day. $5 food coupon pack (inclusive of ONE free entry to Peranakan Museum); $10 food coupon pack (inclusive of TWO free entries to Peranakan Museum); Admission to the Peranakan Museum is only $2 (UP $6 adult or $3 concession)

Buy a $10 food and drinks voucher pack and you can attend a special tour conducted by Mark Lee from 2 to 3pm.

Virgin Trip to Batam

Updated with group photo! :D At last…

This is a lonnngggg overdue post which I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the photos to arrive. Already two months and I still didn’t get the pictures from my friend’s friend. I gave up ok! Two months to upload pictures? wth I think by the time the photos came, I may be getting married already :argh: (nah, that’s 5 years later :D ) Lesson learnt :shift:

I have been travelling all around the world for 21 years but this is the first time I went to Batam. Don’t laugh, but it’s true :doh: Dang, I missed the days where I can travel freely without paying anything. It sucks to be an adult isn’t it? hee


We had A&W for dinner! Missed it so much! The Indonesians call it “Ah Wai” haha :D
