Your Life, Your Canvas Friday, 20 November 09

“Your life, your canvas” is the theme for World AIDS Day this year and is inspired by the notion that we are all responsible for painting the canvas of our own lives. What we choose to put on that canvas is entirely up to us, and the choices we make all contribute to a constantly evolving picture.
We shape our lives by the choices we make. Every choice we make takes us in a different direction. Whatever we do now will definitely affect us in later part of our lives. I totally agree with this.
Here’s how you can do to make a difference this World AIDS Day:

- I’ve done my part by joining the Twibbon campaign on Twitter. Get yours too!
- Countdown to World AIDS Day, December 1 by embedding a special countdown clock on your blog:
- Join us on Saturday, December 5, from 6pm – 10pm at SupperClub Singapore for an exclusive World AIDS Day event of art, music and dance.
Wanna join me in this event? Comment and tell me your views and feelings after watching “August 29″. I have 5 pairs of passes to give away. Don’t be shy!
Here is a thought-provoking short film, “August 29″, created by HPB and a group of young people, to start people thinking about opening their hearts and fighting discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS. It was first screened at HPB’s “Open Your Heart” event last year.
P/S: Lawrence Wong looks really cute!
Do help spread the word for World AIDS Day!
