A Simple Dozo Affair

I knew about this restaurant through Fidelis and boy, I’ve never regretted going! :love4: Boss and I take turns to come up with ideas to celebration our anniversaries. It was my turn this year! My plan was just to have a cosy and simple dinner with the silly one.

My outfit for the day. Maxi dress from TheBlogShop and bag from Pgmall Spreee. :wink1:

My camera is getting really cui and Boss decided to buy a brand new one for me! :love3: Thanks Boss! :love2: And so, here’s my newly acquired G12 from Canon. Totally love this new gadget, all thanks to Nadia for the recommendation! It’s like a semi-pro DSLR with a swivel screen for camwhoring! Woo hoo! :cheer: FYI, I bought a Blackberry for him lor! Don’t say I’m a selfish girlfriend ok! :tongue2:

We reached the restaurant pretty early and there wasn’t a single soul around. It’s like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Yay!

Upon seated, the staff gave us these “twigs” to munch on. Yes, they are edible!

Complimentary drinks from them. How sweet! :wink1:

I opted for the 7-course dinner and it comes with this starter.

Fat, juicy scallop with asparagus. Don’t quite like the foam that looks like saliva.

My first time having foie gras. Very very fattening and melts in the mouth!

Smoked salmon. Nothing special.

King Crab Claw Salad drizzled with Sesame Vinaigrette. The crab claw was bursting with sweetness! :lovebear1:

Platter of Air Flown Seasonal Sashimi. Very very fresh!

Gratinated Escargots topped with Yuzu Butter. The melted cheese is YUM!

Tempura battered Soft Shell Crab on Galette of Mash. I’ve never seen soft shell crabs being presented this way. Like doing yoga! :tongue2:

Crab Bisque Cappuccino style. Not that fantastic but still ok.

Japanese Kun-bu Miso Soup. Oh, this is really good. Miso soup FTW! :dance1:

Sake Infused Grilled Unagi on Hot Stone. Unagi is like one of the best Japanese dish! :drool1:

Herb-braised Lamb Shank. Should have ordered the beef instead, but cos of Boss…

Iced Mallow Apple Melody. Really cool and refreshing. :jump:

Hot Roselle Rhythm.

Espresso Creme Brulee, recommended by the staff. So-so only.

Warm Chocolate Cake with ice cream. We just knew that we had to order this. :love3:

Oozing chocolate! Oh so sinful! :drool2:
Overall, Dozo’s service is worth commending. The staff were really attentive and friendly. Throughout the entire meal, they kept checking on us and asked if we need anything. We even had interesting little chats and laughters. The money was really well spent. :cloud9:
It’s been 3 years and we are still very much in love. :love4: :love4: :love4:
Thanks Dozo! :marie10:
I’ll end the post will a mushy photo of us. :tongue2:

HEE HEE HEE… :smileyhappy2:
