Did you notice something different about us? Yes, we did not draw our eyebrows. OMGBBQWTF I look hideous without eyebrows, don’t I? :

The shape of the eyebrows is very important as it helps to enhance your facial features. I have been toying with the idea of getting my eyebrows embroidered since it’s a hassle to draw it every morning. But at the same time, I was worried that it might turn out ugly and not suitable for me.

Eventually, Nadia and I and chose Allure to have our eyebrows embroidered. Eyebrow embroidery is not tattoo. Tattooing leaves a permanent horrid shade of green after some time. You might have seen it on some aunties who did them. Eyebrow embroidery only involves the penetration of color onto the top layer of the skin which will last 2 to 3 years.

Eyebrow embroidery is a specialized skill which requires the therapist to go through a series of training by qualified trainers. From there, they will study human face shapes and their features in order to draw the pair of perfect eyebrows. Hence, be rest assured that you are in good hands.

And the session begins. A brand new blade will be used for every customer for hygiene purposes.

All done! The entire process took about an hour. My brows have to avoid contact with water during the first week and also, I have to apply the antiseptic cream diligently. Scabs will start to form as well and I was advised not to use my hands to scratch it off.

For my case, the color would start to fade about 50%-70% and I will have to return after a month to do touch up.

My brows today. The scabs have all fallen and it looks more natural now. I am pretty satisfied with it considering the fact that I do not have to draw my brows anymore. Hooray! :thumbsup: Even my mum who discourages me from getting my eyebrows embroidered also agrees that it looks very natural and pretty. :love4:
