Lo Hei at Singapore Flyer

The tossing of “Yu Sheng” (??) commonly known as “Lo Hei” (Cantonese ??) is usually practiced during Chinese New Year.
The Singapore Flyer has introduced a Chinese New Year Lo Hei package from now till 20 February 2011.

It was a unique experience to “lo hei” at 165m above ground with a picturesque view of Singapore.

At the price of $1,888nett for the Lo Hei package, the specially decorated private capsule can accommodate up to 26 guests with 2 in-flight hosts.

Other than the free flow of wines, beers, juices, soft drinks and water, a selection of canapés will be provided as well.

Time to “lo hei”! Tossing starts when you get to the top of the wheel. Make a wish at the highest point in the capsule at 165m, when Heaven Chi is optimum.

The sweetness and tanginess of the yusheng is really refreshing and yummy.

Next, it was Earth Chi at the wishing well. Toss a coin to sound the gong to improve your Human Chi.
It was interesting to experience “lo hei” up in the air. Thank you Smith and Singapore Flyer for the invite.
