the QUEEN and her BLING

What a depressing title. :sad3: Another year older, more and more things to stress about. :scared: But still, a long road lies ahead of me.

Boss gave me this watch as my birthday present. We were at the shop when I casually mentioned that it is pretty and he actually bought it for me. :smileyhappy2:

On a side note, he had just earned the title of Best Actor. :tongue2:

Long story short. Apparently, Boss and Nadia had each other’s BBM and they secretly planned a birthday celebration for me. I had been bugging him if he’s gonna celebrate it for me but he seemed disinterested. So I presumed that he didn’t. :sad3:

On the eve of my birthday, we went to have light dim sum at 126 before dinner and I told him that I wanted to try Let’s Sweets. But he insisted that Ma Maison is good cos his friend recommended it to him. :blah: Ok lor, but he didn’t reserve any table. :damnit: I didn’t suspect anything, so I went home to change and we headed off to the restaurant.

Upon reaching, I stood outside the restaurant to look at the menu. The queue was extremely long and I nearly wanted to leave when Boss suddenly ushered me in. I thought he had a friend who worked there and managed to get a table for us. But, I was taken by surprise. :shocked1:

I heard a loud “SURPRISE!” and saw the girls giggling away. :confused2:

Nadia recorded a video of the whole process. I had a great time laughing at their conversations and my reaction. :shutup: I called Sabrina a liar cos she SMS me and told me that she had quarrelled with Nadia (which obviously was a lie). :blank: She sounded so sad and worried lor! See! I trusted people too easily and kanna tio pian. :

Anyhoo, the food at Ma Maison was good hehe! I’m definitely going back for more. Gonna try the escargots! Looks damn yummy luh! :drool1: Extremely glad that I am blessed with friends like Nadia, Esther, Fidelis and Sabrina. And of course, my dear Boss. :love4: Thanks for the surprise, thanks for the gifts, thanks for everything! :minnie17:

The day ended with some drinks at The Chupitos Bar. It’s a shooters bar by the way, very very unique. Definitely worth a second visit.

And this has got to be one of the happiest days of my life.
