[Review] Viccal and Hanamei

[Sponsored Review]

I’m sure everyone out there are always on the lookout for skincare products which provides instantaneous results.

In life, there are no shortcuts. Same goes to achieve healthy beautiful skin.

VICCAL is the smarter skincare which doesn’t promise you instantaneous results. They focus on creating solutions that will work within your skin. Their products do not contain alcohol, preservatives, colorants or fragrance. All ingredients are purely natural.

Their basic collection has 3 different types which cater to all ages and skin types:

  • No 1.10: Nurture & Strengthen $145 – For dry skin with mid-day shine and slight blemishes
  • No 2.11: Detoxify & Heal $165 – For skin prone to breakouts, blackheads, whiteheads and oil seeds
  • No 3.12: Revitalise & Energise $185 – For dry, dull and skin prone to pigmentation and freckles

I have really sensitive skin, terrible clogged pores and slight acne. Based on my skin condition, I got myself the No 2.11 serum.

The product comes in a thick frosted glass bottle with a dropper. To use it, simply apply 3-4 drops of the serum and gently pat it all over your face. Remember to use it twice a day, after cleansing and before moisturizing. Extremely lightweight and easily absorbed by the skin, it leaves a slight dewy effect on the skin. There’s a very light fragrance of flowers after application. :)

Here’s my skin condition after using VICCAL for almost 4 weeks. My T-zone has less shine and my makeup glides easier and lasted longer. :love4:

VICCAL is currently stocked at The Medical Practice and The Clinic @ One George Street. If you are keen to try them out before spending that amount of money, head over to their website to grab some samples! :tongue2:

Next, I’m gonna introduce another product called HANAMEI.

Hanamei is created specifically to care for your most intimate area especially after any hair removal therapies. Think brazilian waxing, IPLs and shaving. Hanamei only uses natural Japanese plant ingredients to care for your delicate skin.

The Hanamei Brightening Serum contains multiple botanical actives to minimise ingrown hair and lighten darkened skin caused by hair removal and micro-abrasion especially at the underarms, elbows and kneecaps. I’ve tried this on my underarms but there isn’t much significant change in the skin color. I’ll continue using this and shall update if there is further improvement. ;)

Check out this Hanamei Comforting Mask specially for the bikini area. It helps to:

  • Soothe and minimise skin soreness
  • Reduce redness and skin irritation
  • Protect skin against follicle and pore infection

The bikini mask looks like the normal face sheet mask :tongue2: I tried keeping it in the fridge before usage and it turns out really soothing and comfortable on the delicate skin. Use it for a week and you will notice that your skin feels calmer, soreness reduces and skin condition turns much better.

The only weird thing is that I have to put the mask on for 10-15 mins, bottomless.

Hanamei can be purchased via email at questions@hanamei.com or simply call 63430157.

Many thanks to Viccal, Hanamei and The Sample Store. :wink1:

The Handburger

I’m not a fan of burgers, but I was attracted by the concept of The Handburger located at 313@Somerset. Love the minimalistic decor with cheerful elements which made the whole dining experience very enjoyable. :marie5:

Love the font! ;)

The menu is being displayed on a wooden clipboard. Retro! :jump:
