[Review] Strip Strawberry Wax
I’ve been to a few waxing parlours and Strip is definitely my favorite. So far, the therapists I’ve met at Strip are pretty friendly. To show your “eh hem” to a total stranger is quite embarrassing but they would always engage in little conversations with you to make you feel at ease. That’s a definite plus point.

I went to check out the strawberry wax which they claimed that it will further reduce the pain and discomfort compared to the chocolate wax. Apparently, it contains aloe vera and chamomile extracts to calm and soothe the skin. It’s an extremely gentle and soothing formula that is perfect for Brazilian virgins.

And so, the waxing session begins. I was given a wet tissue to clean my intimate area and the therapist went on to apply the warm strawberry wax in little sections, without double-dipping the spatula. It takes about 10 seconds or so for the wax to dry up before the therapist ripped off the hardened wax at an instant. It was painful for the first few times but subsequently, it gets pretty addictive. The butt crack was not spared off as well. :smileyhappy2:
The entire session lasted no more than 20 minutes. It was a breeze. :tongue2: IMO, there isn’t any difference compared to the chocolate wax.

I bought the new Brazilian virgin kit ($25) which contains all the essential post-wax care – Peace Ampoule for soothing hair follicle and retarding hair growth, X’ed Out Cream to prevent ingrown hair, Ice Cream to soothe irritated skin, Strawberry Body Scrub and Strawberry Body Butter.
To be honest, my pain threshold is pretty high but waxing is still quite a torture. Perhaps, I will give Brazilian IPL a try instead. :wink1:
