[Review] Smooth E Extra Sensitive Cleansing Gel

Personally, I do feel that my skin is extremely sensitive. I tend to break out a lot whenever I am under stress, have lack of sleep or during my menses. My face will get a burning sensation if I use products which are unsuitable for me.
I am very skeptical whenever people claim that their products are suitable for sensitive skin. I believed them and bought their products but soon realized that they are not suitable for me at all. Hence I would never ever believe them unless I had tested the product myself.
Smooth E is a cleansing gel that is oil free, bubble-free and contains ingredients like Vitamin E to help fight oxidants, Rose Oil Extract and Sea Weed Extract which help to soften and smoothen the skin for a youthful complexion. In fact, it is suitable for sensitive and acne prone skin. Really? I put myself to the test.
My verdict:
The gel is extremely lightweight and gentle on the skin. While it doesn’t lather like any other facial cleansers, it cleanses my skin pretty effectively and doesn’t cause tightness at all. No irritation experienced and it can be used as a daily cleanser. However, it lacks moisture and my skin is a little dry after cleansing. Always good to dab some moisturiser after using it.
