I’ve heard about the advantage of using a brush to apply liquid foundation, but I never got to try it as I have no idea what types of brushes are suitable. Ok, let’s just say I am pretty lazy to do research haha!

The
L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Pearl Brush-on Whitening Foundation Essence comes with a built-in brush which makes things so much easier. Made of synthetic hair, the bristles do not irritate the skin and using it is simply a breeze. It’s so soft and manageable, you just have to use a tissue to clean it after usage.

This is how I use it. It gives me better control and consistency without applying too much on my face. It’s available in 4 shades and I’ve got shade G2, it suits my skin tone pretty well.
Enriched with a pearl complex, White Perfect Pearl Brush-on Whitening Foundation Essence covers all skin imperfections and leaves a pearly translucence on the skin while it delivers skincare benefits with the formula’s brightening and hydrating active ingredients.

I used the Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer as a base before applying the foundation. I had it on for about 8 hours but it still looks so natural and perfect on my skin. Please excuse the ugly under eye dark circles. Apart from that, it doesn’t leave streaks on the face after application.
The L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Pearl Brush-on Whitening Foundation Essence retails at S$32.90 and is available at all department stores and selected Watson’s outlets.

The folks from Mandom had kindly sponsored me the
RoC Soleil Protexion+ Facial Sun Cream for review. I must say, it’s the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I was in search for a good sunscreen that is light, not sticky or tacky to apply and this is by far, the best.

Apart from the high protection provided, it provides UVA (Ultraviolet A) and UVB (Ultraviolet B) protection. Now, SPF is totally different from UVA and UVB. UVA and UVB causes premature skin aging, wrinkling and sunburn. SPF simply measures the length of time that you can stay out in the sun without getting sunburned. For instance, if it takes you 10 minutes to burn, an SPF 15 will allow you to stay out in the sun 15 times longer – that’s about 2.5 hours.
Typically, an SPF 15 sunscreen is sufficient for daily usage and it should be reapplied every 2-3 hours to remain effective. However, if you have an active outdoor lifestyle, a higher SPF sunscreen is recommended.

They have different ranges for different skin types. I’ve got the one for sensitive skin. It is unscented and doubles up as moisturizer and sunscreen in one product. This, saves me a lot of time and effort. The creamy texture gives it a better control in application and provides a matte finish without having the dreadful white cast.
If you are looking for a good sunscreen, why not give RoC Soleil Protexion+ a try? It is also highly recommended by cotters.
Thanks for reading and do look out for more upcoming beauty reviews.

Unlimited sessions for underarm IPL (Intense Pulse Light) at only
$98? I got this awesome deal from
deal.com.sg a couple of months back and I knew I had to get this!
Musee Platinum Tokyo specializes in hair removal from all parts of the body. I made my appointment at the Parco Millenia Walk outlet. Prior to the IPL session, the therapist gave me a very detailed explanation on the entire procedure and other things to take note of. No shaving and no deodorant for the next 2 weeks. I was also told that I need to visit once every 2 months to maintain until the hair is all gone.
She even went on to introduce other IPL treatments they specialize in. However, there was no hard-selling and boy, was I surprised. You know how annoying some therapists can be when they start to introduce packages to you (especially during facials). I politely declined and the therapist was still all smiley. No pressure at all.
I was ushered into a room to change into a comfortable top. The procedure was simple and fast. It lasted less than 20 minutes and I’m all done! It was almost painless. Probably much much milder than an ant bite. Cooling gel will be applied before the treatment and cooling pads after that to close up the pores.
I am already on my 2nd session and I used to shave every day but ever since I did the IPL, the hair grew out much slower and I only have to shave once a week! Hair is a lot finer too. Extremely pleased! :cloud9:
Do grab the deal if you see it again. It’s extremely worth it considering that there are unlimited sessions and no expiry date. Now, I am tempted to get one for my legs and bikini line. :tongue2:
