Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++

Sponsored Review

Hada Labo recently launched Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk with SPF50 PA+++ (herein UV Milk), a 3-in-1 sun protection which offers high sun protection while caring for the skin. Hada Labo is so popular especially with their star product – Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion that 1 is sold every 2 seconds in Japan (used to be 1 sold every 4 seconds)! :O

The best thing is the UV Milk is free from artificial ingredients such as fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant that may burden the skin. It also contains their signature hyaluronic acid formula which helps to keep the skin hydrated.

The milky and lightweight texture of this sunscreen makes it extremely easy to be absorbed without feeling tacky or greasy. The UV Milk comes in handy when I don’t feel like putting on makeup in Singapore’s crazy humid weather. It’s perfectly fine to use it on its own as it doesn’t leave that horrible white cast =)

The Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++ (S$19.90, 38ml) is available exclusively in Watsons. Remember to join their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hadalabosg to participate in their upcoming free sampling campaign and giveaways! =)

OTO Bodycare e-Shape Slimming Belt

Unlike the conventional slimming belts which are super bulky, the OTO e-Shape comes in a compact and stylish design for the younger and trendier generation. Available in three different colours – maroon, chocolate and violet.

Given its sleek design, it can be attached to different parts of the body – arms, shoulder, abdomen, back, waist, hips, thighs, calves – to be massaged.

I had the chance to try out the e-Shape and I fell in love with it! The oscillating speed gave me a shock though, but I think it kinda worked for me. I can feel my body reacting to the oscillatory motion. Would be good if I can get this to speed up my weight loss and body toning plan! :P

As part of an offer for Mother’s Day, OTO is offering the e-Shape at a promotional price of S$198 (U.P. S$298) from 9 Apr – 13 May. That’s a whooping $100 savings! To find out more about e-Shape, check out their roadshow from now till 13 May. Take part in their campaign and stand a chance to win a limited edition “blinged up” e-Shape as shown above (design varies)!

Maybelline 2012 Product Launch at Covelli

Event + Sponsored Review

I’ve switched to a new layout. Please bear with me as I will be changing the graphics and do some minor tweaking =)

Maybelline Singapore held a bloggers and fans event sometime in February to introduce their new products for 2012 at Covelli Italian Bistro & Wine Bar. The restaurant is located at Orchard Central, I had a tough time looking for it cos the structure of the mall is just weird -_-

Fashion show by Love Bonito. I won the first dress by the way! Mad pretty. Can’t wait to wear it out :) And I realized that the model is Shine! My fellow mate from the Casio Sheen blogging challenge hahaha! :D

Here’s the full range of the products!

Maybelline B.B UV White (S$17.90) has 8 benefits in 1 tube and comes with SPF50 PA+++ to guard dark spots, uneven skin tone and lines due to sun exposure. Available in 01 Fresh and 02 Natural.

Tiphanie had tried 02 Natural on her arm but it’s too dark for her. I’ve tried too but it doesn’t suit me either :( Wish I had the 01 Fresh instead.

Maybelline Volume Express Magnum Ultra Comb Waterproof Mascara (S$19.90). What a mouthful! :O

The Ultra Comb applicator is exquisitely curved to fit well to Asian eyelids. The wand is different from the usual brush applicator. I think the new design is much more hygienic.

Maybelline Jelly Glow Blush (S$15.90) has a unique bouncy cream formula that goes “boing boing” when you press it hahaha! It gives a subtle blush and radiance to the cheeks and is pretty easy to blend.

The compact design of this product makes it perfect to store in my bags, makeup pouch, purse or even pockets! The only downside is I need to apply at least 3 swipes to make it noticeable. Available in 4 shades and I’ve received the one in 02 Fresh Pink and 04 Sweet Momo.

Masterliner White (S$11.90) helps to create a white line effect for higher contrast and a cleaner under eye. The pencil is also smudge-proof & waterproof.

Here’s my LOTD using the above products!

Foundation: L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Pearl Brush-on Whitening Foundation Essence in G2 Golden Vanilla
Blush: Maybelline Jelly Glow in 04 Sweet Momo
Eyeshadow: NYX 10-color eye shadow palette in 07 Versus
Eyeliner: Ansley Gel Liner & Maybelline Masterliner White
Eyebrows: Ettusais Pencil Brow Liner in Light Brown
Mascara: Maybelline Volume Express Magnum Ultra Comb Waterproof Mascara
Lips: MAC Cremesheen Creme Cup

I didn’t use the B.B UV White cos it doesn’t match my skin tone =( Anyone wants it? First come first serve! :D
