June’s BellaBox is all about “Summer Upgrade”. It’s my first BellaBox and at $15, they’ve upgraded to 8 samples instead of the usual 5 samples for this month! From July onwards, the price has increased to $19.95 per month instead of the usual $15 as they’ve made new delivery arrangements by hand-delivering the boxes, and even working directly with the brands themselves for quality assurance.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at the products in June’s Bellabox! =)

Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner (40ml)

This product is made with real Marigold flowers which are hand-picked and placed in each bottle by hand! It helps to gently cleanse and soothe normal to oily skin types without the use of alcohol or harsh synthetic drying agents.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (4ml)

A potent concentrate that contains 99.8% naturally derived botanical elixir that works all night to regenerate, repair and replenish the skin barrier for a smoother and healthier skin by morning. I’ve briefly tried this product and I love the calming and soothing lavender smell.

Biotherm Lait Corporel Body Moisturiser (30ml)

An everyday body milk which contains olive oil, sugars, amino acids, orange & grapefruit essential oils to deeply nourish and moisturise the skin. I’ve never come across any moisturiser with a citrusy scent. I am currently using Korres Japanese Rose Body Butter at night (more on that later), so this moisturiser comes in handy during the day. It’s not too greasy and leaves my skin hydrated and moisturised.

Biotherm White D-Tox BB Cream (5ml)

This BB cream’s formula is similar to a face lotion that provides a light and sheer coverage without feeling too sticky. Contains SPF25 PA+++ that provides more protection from UVA rays.

Shu Uemura White Efficient Gentle Cleansing Oil (20ml)

Here’s a powerful brightening cleansing oil for dull complexion that leaves the skin clear, radiant and evenly-toned. I’ve heard so many raves of this cleansing oil but haven’t had the chance to try it, now I do though! Can’t wait to try!

Lancome Blanc Expert Derm-Crystal (5ml)

Finally got to try this product! I was invited to their press event but couldn’t make it. Anyway, this product is a whitening serum that works from the dermis layer to achieve skin luminosity and translucency from within. I heard that it works best together with the Lancome Genifique Youth Activator.

Lancome Genifique Youth Activator (5ml)

I first knew about this product when it was first launched 3 years ago and Lancome was giving out 5ml samples then. Managed to get my hands on them and I was really amazed by this product. Initially, I was quite skeptical of the product with its “youth-activating” promises. But I changed my opinion after using it. The serum has a milky and lightweight texture, leaving my skin feeling silky smooth, velvety and supple.

Ralph Lauren Romance (1.5ml)

This fragrance smells quite harsh during the first spritz but settles down to a pleasant floral and girly smell after a while.

All in all, June’s Bellabox is worth every cent. I’m tempted to get the full size bottle of Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate but I have way too many skincare products at home right now. Hopefully they will launch one for cosmetics products soon! =)
