Ben + Jace 12.12.12 – Carpenter & Cook + I Love Candy Buffet

I have always wanted a vintage style wedding. When I first saw Carpenter & Cook, I knew I had to hold the wedding here. The owner, Eunice is known to have a flair with wedding styling. I was browsing through her portfolio and fell in love with it. I knew I had to engage her. The cafe is located around Bukit Timah area and can accommodate up to 40 pax.

The reception area is decorated with our initials, guestbook, some props for our mini photobooth and the mini carousel that BFF had bought for me! <3 We had used this area as a backdrop for photo-taking too.

We included buntings, pom poms, balloons plus other stuff as part of the decoration to match our theme. Honestly, I was so busy that day that I didn’t notice them at all hehe! They really turned out pretty. :)

Our wedding cake from PicnicSunday Cakes is absolutely delicious. The flavor is Ispahan which is made with lychee sponge, raspberry jam filling and rose flavour buttercream. Check out the lovely rosette pattern!

Yummy bakes from Carpenter & Cook.

Of course not forgetting, the lovely dessert and candy table set up by my lovely sponsor I Love Candy Buffet which was started by my secondary schoolmates – Michelle, Carisse and Charmaine. I truly appreciate their effort and for going the extra mile to provide with more yummy treats that what discussed initially. Once again, thank you ladies! :) I Love Candy Buffet has various ready-made themes for you to choose from which will be personalized to suit your occasion. Otherwise, you may also rent their equipment if you prefer to DIY the theme all by yourself. A rather unique idea as you can have the flexibility and control over your preferred theme. So do check out their website if you would like to know about it.

We had so much fun! Thanks for reading and I will be back with the wedding video soon! :)

    Hi Jacelyn

I happen to chance upon your website while I was researching online for my own wedding. Your ROM at carpenter and cook looked really great and fun!! Wonder if you are able to share more with me on the cost involved pls?

Thanks and hope to hear from you :)

Jacelyn: For C&C alone, I spent about $2000 on the food, decor and 3 hours usage of the cafe. Different charges applies depending on your requirements. You may want to check with Eunice. :)
