Update (21 Nov 2011): Giveaway has ended. I will email the winners, thanks everyone! :)

Women who perfume themselves are extremely feminine and sexy. :love4:

Lancome has launched Tresor Midnight Rose – a mysterious, magical and sensual fragrance that has this sweet floral, charming and alluring scent. It started off with passionate accords of berries, a hint of florals and calms down to a lovely musky scent. A very deep, bold and intense kind of fragrance. Perfectly great to use during a girls’ night out!

Here are the notes you can find in the Tresor Midnight Rose:
Raspberry and Blackcurrant – A sweet burst of fruit that teases the senses
Rose Absolute, Jasmine, Peony – A sensual, mysterious floral blend
Vanilla, Musk, Cedar – An addictive mlange that lingers on skin

Even the food looked so pretty with the purple hues, lovingly prepared by the peeps from Group Therapy.

Your thoughts and experience on love at first sight

Dateline: 20 November 2011
* Giveaway is only open for those residing in Singapore
* Comments will be moderated

Ok let me start the ball rolling, it’s a secret I’ve never ever shared before lol!

I first met Boss at an ex-company and for the first few days, he was supposedly my mentor. When I first saw him, he looked like some arrogant dude sitting at a corner all by himself. I got attracted to him though haha! No idea why, but he has this unique “aura” around him LOL! There was this internal email function and I started emailing him to chit chat. Yes, I initiated first hee hee! Eventually, we got together mutually and lasted till today. Not exactly a romantic experience but still, it left a very deep impression on me. I think it was really love at first sight. *shy* :love4:

Now starting penning down your thoughts here. Looking forward to all your entries! One entry per person only and don’t cheat! Have fun! :love3:

[Review] Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Range Thu, 10 November 11

Jacelyn • Filed under: Advertorial, Beauty, Reviews 1:00 pmComments(0)

As I am writing this review, I spot a huge acne in the middle of my nose! *hides* Though I may not have acne-prone skin, I do develop acne on different parts of my face once in a while. It’s extremely frustrating and demoralizing to experience this.

But here comes Eucerin DermoPURIFYER System Care line to the rescue. All products in the range are compatible with all commonly used acne medication and suitable for all needs like minor blemishes, combination skin, oily skin, blemished skin, acne, etc.

You may not know, but the 4 main factors responsible for the formation of acne and blemished skin are:

  • Excessive sebum production
  • Clogging of pores
  • Increased bacteria proliferation
  • Inflammation

Am guilty of having clogged pores. *boo hoo*

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Active Concentrate (S$29.90, 30ml) is a light-weight and lightly scented serum with a watery texture. My skin absorbs it pretty quickly and it gives a very matte finish. Works best when used with Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Hydrating Care.

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Hydrating Care (S$25.90, 50ml) is an oil and fragrance free cream gel that provides the skin with moisture, leaving it really fresh and relaxed. It also effectively reduces skin blemishes and prevents the formation of new ones. Similar to the Active Concentrate, it gives a matte finish and got quickly absorbed into my skin.

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Active Night Care (S$25.90, 50ml) is a night moisturizer that helps rejuvenate your skin while you sleep. It also activates and improve the skin regeneration process to repair the skin’s protective outer barrier, restoring the firmness of your skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

The texture is slightly thicker than the Active Concentrate but lighter than the Hydrating Care. Based on my personal preference, I would prefer a much thicker texture which will leave my skin moisturized even until the next day.

For comparison’s sake, here’s how the textures of the 3 products look like. Pray that my acne will go away soon, though I’ve tested this range for 3 days only.

The Eucerin DermoPURIFYER range is available at most leading pharmacies, Guardian, Watsons, Unity, hospital retail pharmacies and National Skin Centre.

[Review] Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil Thu, 3 November 11

[Sponsored Review]

Honestly, I only started using cleansing oils during my journey with Ettusais. I’ve always thought that cleansing oils are strictly meant to remove heavy makeup only but I was so wrong. And so, today’s review will be on Hada Labo’s latest product – Hydrating Cleansing Oil.

Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil contains Ultra Pure Olive Oil for effective and gentle cleansing without any irritation to the skin. It contains no fragrance, color, mineral oil, nor alcohol. Also, the Super Hyaluronic Acid gives 2X more moisture than normal hyaluronic acid. Hey, that’s a bonus!

Yes, I used to be so silly that I would throw away the plastic neck stopper without realizing it’s extremely useful! *slaps self*

The texture of the cleansing oil is pretty thick and I only had to use 2 pumps to remove all my makeup. Here’s how I use the Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil:

  • Use 2 pumps of cleansing oil on your dry palm
  • Gently massage it all over your face including your eyes area
  • Wet your hands and continue to massage to create a milky emulsion
  • Rinse it off with warm water and your face will be squeaky clean

Here’s me trying out the cleansing oil. I’m glad that it doesn’t leave any stickiness or greasy residue on my face. Skin feels smooth, clean and hydrated. Usually I only had light makeup on, I trust that the Hydrating Makeup Remover (S$17.90) will better suit me.

Honestly, this cleansing oil is great for normal makeup but not waterproof ones like the Kate eyeliner. It’s the most stubborn eyeliner I’ve ever used and I am still looking for the right makeup remover for it.

The Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil (S$20.90, 200ml) is available exclusively at Watsons nationwide from November 2011 onwards. It’s extremely value for money and will definitely last you for at least 6 months!

Here’s my second review on Kinohimitsu products. This time, it’s the Kinohimitsu Collagen Diamond 5300 Drink.

More benefits of the Kinohimitsu Collagen Diamond 5300 Drink:

  • Lifts up bust and buttock for a more attractive body shape
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and heals scars
  • Re-densifies the skin’s dermis layer for fine and supple skin

Recommended usage:

  • Consume 1 bottle a day, preferably before breakfast or bedtime.
  • Keep chilled and shake well before drinking.
  • For first-time users, to consume 1 bottle a day for 6 consecutive days.
  • To maintain vibrant results, consume 1 bottle every 3 days.

My verdict:
Again, I took the drink 6 days straight as stated in the instructions. It contains fructose, condensed apple, lemon & lychee juices, caramel, Vitamin C, etc. As compared to the BB Drink, it has a more sourish and fruity taste. Priced at S$69.90 for a box of 16, it costs about $4.50 for 1 bottle. This range contains 5300mg of Collagen Peptide specifically designed for mature skin to restore its youthfulness, resilience and radiance.

Do you fall into any of these categories? If your answer is yes, then this is the right product for you.
