Japanese have the most bizarre inventions. Remember the Konapun Fake Food Making videos I posted a couple of months ago? All thanks to Nadia who managed to find the edible versions from Kracie, I think the both of us had spent more than $100 to buy these candies. We have almost collected all but are still looking for the pizza version. If anyone found it, PLEASE INFORM US! :tongue2:

Apart from Kracie, I managed to find the DIY candies from Meiji. Not that fantastic but was still fun to make. Since Nadia had posted what she bought, I decided to show what I bought too! Check out the following videos! :love4:

Ramen

Ice Cream

DIY Candy

Donuts

Crepes

Sushi

Bento

Gummyland

Cupcakes. This is the only set that requires baking.

Taiyaki

Neru Neru Neru Ne

Oh yeah that’s a lot of candies there. In fact, I’ve already tried the Ice cream and Neru Neru. Ice cream was yummy but Neru Neru is way too sweet. It’s as if you are eating the entire packet of sugar.

Nadia and I might post up some videos soon. Do look out for it! :wink1:

I’m not a fan of burgers, but I was attracted by the concept of The Handburger located at 313@Somerset. Love the minimalistic decor with cheerful elements which made the whole dining experience very enjoyable. :marie5:

Love the font! ;)

The menu is being displayed on a wooden clipboard. Retro! :jump:

Mushroom soup!

Onion rings! Very crispy and lightly sprinkled with spice.

The Chicken Caesar burger that I had was heavenly. Fresh, juicy chicken meat with loads of mayonnaise! :drool2:

Boss’s Battered Dory burger. Very tastefully done!

Plus a glass of Nutella milkshake. Heavenly and sinful! Look at that awesome marshmallows. :eat:

Lookbook #4 Sun, 10 April 11

Lookbook yay! :cheer:

Many thanks to TheBlogShop for sponsoring my lovely clothes. :tongue2:

I brought Boss to Hatched and we ordered Hitch Me Up. Total boo boo! The entire set wasn’t tasty at all, we regretted. :shift: Should have ordered the other sets instead. The waffle was yummy though. Wore a cute rabbit prints top from TheBlogShop! :)

Thereafter, we went to Island Creamery to have ice cream! They have my favorite pulut hitam and other flavors like teh tarik, horlicks, milo, etc. Erm, Boss had his usual chocolate ice cream. Not adventurous one sia. :blah:

Scallop tops! My favorite basics for now! They come in various lovely colors, very easy to match with any bottom. Think jeans, work pants, etc. :wink1:

A grey, off shoulder laced dress matched with a black belt. Love this to bits! :smileyhappy3:

A bodycon dress which I wore to my friend’s wedding. Very flattering to the figure (though I have unwanted fats hidden somewhere :sad3: )

And lastly, a green dress which I wore to Keppel Bay for lunch. More in the upcoming entries. :cloud9:

Tom’s Palette Fri, 8 April 11

Jacelyn • Filed under: Food 12:00 pmComments(4)

Tom’s Palette is a homemade ice-cream parlour located at Shaw Tower. To date, they have created more than 80 flavors. Darn impressive. Some, are extremely exotic like collagen, wasabi lime, ginseng and seaweed! :shocked1:

We were choosing our ice-cream when I spotted the salted egg yolk flavor! Oh my god, I was pleasantly surprised! Salted egg yolk ice cream?! I was so eager to try it but it was all sold out. :(: In the end, we had Chocolate Sorbet, Hazelnut, Salted Caramel Cheesecake and Rum & Raisin.

I went back another time and managed to try the Salted Egg Yolk flavor! It was really creamy, rich and bursting with salted egg yolk flavor, totally heavenly! :) Apart from that, I also had Ed’s Tea – made from freshly brewed teh tarik. Marvellous!

P/S: The photos were taken some time back. Heard that they have expanded! I can’t wait to go back to buy a tub home! :tongue2:
