This Saturday from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, hundreds of millions of people around the world will be turning off their lights to support Earth Hour.

Big players like Singapore Changi Airport, Resorts World Sentosa, NTUC, Malls along Orchard Road, The Singapore Flyer and Esplanade Theatres will be doing their part.

Remember to turn off the lights! :)

Let’s Care and Celebrate Mon, 22 March 10

Miss Glitzy is organising a charity campaign called “Let’s Care and Celebrate!” and this is held in conjunction with her blog’s first anniversary and will benefit abused women and children from The Star Shelter (SCWO).


Give a Gift Charity Auction will start on 22 March (Monday) at 12pm right here. Basically, a group of bloggers (Fashion Nation, Fash-Eccentric, Cherry Magazine, Bagaholicboy, Renzze) will be contributing some items for the public to bid for and all proceeds will go to The Star Shelter.

It’s nice to know that people actually care these days. :) When I stumbled upon The Red Box Project, I knew I had to contribute somehow. :wink1:

I rummaged through my store room and managed to find this box. Umm, it looks kinda dirty though. :tongue2:


After wrapping and shopping for gifts for the kid (a 5-7 year old girl), here’s the box which we have contributed! :tongue2:

The Red Box Project is a non-profit organization led by a group of youth who hopes to put a smile on the faces of 700 less-fortunate children this Lunar New Year.
