Marina Barrage is one of the best places to laze around and have a picnic with your loved ones. I went there during one of the weekends and had absolute fun! Look at all the colorful kites in the sky. Magnificent! :cloud9:

Meet my new dog, Honda! Kidding, he’s not mine. Lovely name he has eh? :wink1: He kept looking for places to pee around when I was already struggling to walk him! :alamak:

Such a beauty. :lovebear1:

We brought some bread, pastries, cheese hot dogs and strawberries dipped with chocolate. Really yummy picnic we have there haha! :drool2:

I made a party hat for Honda but he refused to wear it on his head! Look what we did to him instead lol! :smileyhappy3:

Almost died looking at this photo. So cute! :doraemon5:

Big baby and small baby lol.

Me, boss and Honda! :love4:

With Athena and Honda. :lovebear2:

His reaction when we mumbled a string of sentences to him hahaha. :smileyhappy3:

Love this photo! :marie10:

Bubbles bubbles bubbles! :heart10:

Boss was busy flying his kite, not too bad for an amateur! That’s my boss! :dance1:

We caught the lovely sunset too! :weather14:

All thanks to Eevon, I got to know about Restaurant Week which was held from 22 Mar – 28 Mar 2010. I selected iL Lido and I am glad that I made the right choice! :cloud9:

I requested for a table facing the sea and the staff readily gave me one. Look at the breathtaking view! :weather5:

The golf course was right behind me and I almost had the urge to run down to the course to play golf! Hahaha!

Silly boss looking famished. :tongue2:

Nom nom nom! Spot the heart-shaped bread! :heart5:

Scallops with Chanterelle Mushrooms. The scallops are extremely big, fat and juicy! Me loves! :drool2:

Porcini Mushroom and Truffle Cream Soup. Tasted very creamy and delicious!

Me, happy with my soup hee hee. :kitty8:

Angel Hair Pasta with Spicy Baby Prawns. Where are the prawns sia?! :confused2:

Atlantic Cod with Chanterelle Mushroom, my favorite fish! Extremely delish and succulent! :smileyhappy2:

Look at the chocolate oozing out! YUMMEH! Oh my, this is so sinful! :drool1:

Boss and I decided to walk around Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) since we have already paid for the $7 entrance fee. :blank:

Here we are at the casino! Would you pay $100 to lose even more money? I won’t lor. :blah:

Here I am at RWS! Not so sua ku anymore.

The pretty escalator that changes to different colors of lightings. :)

Boss trying to be funny.

The elephant with the long legs looks pretty creepy huh?

The first Victoria’s Secret boutique in Asia! :marie5:

Tons of ladies flocking into the store. :shocked1:

The lingerie section! :tongue2:

Pretty luggage tags! Wanted to buy them but it’s not worth spending that kind of money.

Sweet looking pink pouches! :heart18:

Spotted one of my favorite brands! But see no buy. :sad3:

The pathway which leads to Crockfords Tower which we can’t enter at all. No idea why they have to build this hotel simply to make everyone green with envy. TMD lor.

Since we are not VIPs, we proceeded to Hard Rock Hotel to tour around.

Love the guitars! :dance2:

The reception area is darn cool!

More weird statues with no meaning at all. :confused2:

Woah the moment I stepped into the store, the smell of the caramel and cheese popcorn rushed into my nose. :drool2:

Feel like going RWS again, especially USS. But the parking charges are crazy. We paid $16 in total for a 2 hour trip there. Extreme daylight robbery.

K Suites @ Iluma Sat, 19 December 09

Jacelyn • Filed under: Fun, Leisure, Reviews 1:20 amComments(0)

This is a long overdue post. I found out that Kbox @ Jurong Safra has the same concept at a fraction of the price. The only difference is that they don’t provide free internet service, bedroom slippers and comforter. Also, their beverage selection is far better than K Suites.

Those who read my blog frequently should know that I hate Kbox due to the terrible service I’ve experienced before. However, K Suites is a total new concept and I was quite eager to try it out.

K Suites is tucked away in a corner at Level 3 of Illuma. The charges are at $12/hour/pax with a minimum spending of $10/pax for beverages. Not very affordable, but the service is worth commending though. Even much better than Kbox. Is that why they are charging at a higher rate?

Uniqlo @ Tampines 1 Thu, 9 April 09

Jacelyn • Filed under: Leisure 10:13 pmComments(5)

(via)

Move aside Giordano, Hang Ten, Bossini, etc. Here comes Uniqlo, Japan’s NUMBER ONE casual wear brand! Uniqlo at Tampines 1 is the very first outlet to be launched in Singapore and Southeast Asia! Another outlet would be at ION Orchard (TBC). Being an extremely proud resident of Tampines for the past 24 years, I chiong all the way to the mall after my work only to find out the horrible truth! shocked

Lots and lots of patrons inside the store. I refused to get in the first time and went to explore around the mall ;)

The entire mall started to get crowded.

And REALLY crowded  How to shop like that? :disbelief:

I went up to the rooftop to get a breather :hehe:

I turned back to Uniqlo hoping that the queue would get shorter :s

Instead…

… it gets even worse! :argh: Is this gonna be another Donut Factory craze?! I HOPE NOT! shocked

Uniqlo will be having a 10-day celebration offer from 9 – 19 April 2009!

Other than the highly raved Uniqlo, there are other stores like Bakerzin, Challenger, Dorothy Perkins, Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant, New Urban Male, Recoil, Topshop, etc. Ok there are too many to name. Drop by to explore yourself :D

I shall return back once the hype is over since it’s just a stone’s throw away from home ;) I will camp myself every weekend at Tampines as Jurong Point is already getting boring :x Meanwhile, visit the website to get more information about the mall hee
