I’ve lived my entire life in the east region of Singapore. Can’t imagine myself staying elsewhere. I will be moving to the north region in a couple of years later though. :rolleyes: Ok, I digress.


I went on a bloggers tour a couple of weeks back for the new I12 Katong (remember the old Katong Mall?). I was in awe when I knew that they had a series of firsts there! You lucky people staying near that area! Ok, I have a direct bus from home too haha! Lunch was at Nandos and the people there were so warm and friendly! Can’t wait to visit the outlet at Tampines woohoo! :jump:

Ever wonder if you could DIY your own cocktails? Now you can do so at The Studio! It was extremely fun concocting the cocktail all by myself! Imagine you can custom them to suit your own taste buds. Cool eh? The Passion Fruit Magarita I’ve tried is super awesome! Their signature cocktails have really unique names like An Autumn Affair, Room Mate, The Landlord, The Apartment and The Gardener hahaha!

David & Nadia’s Engagement

Woohoo BFF got engaged! I was waiting for her to finish blogging before I give my side of the story lol!

It came as a surprise for me too cos on that day, David messaged me on Facebook asking me to call him. It was the day when I was supposed to meet the girls for dinner in town. I called him and asked why didn’t he ask Nadia for my number. I suspected he was up to something and yes, I was right. He had plans to propose to her on that day. :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: What a last minute notice lol!

He said he wanted to give her a surprise proposal on the least expected day. And then, I started getting worried. Like what if she didn’t dress up or didn’t put on make up?! Confirm kill me cos she had been reminding me to do so prior to Boss’s proposal for me lol! So I told David I will ask Fidelis to “announce” on Whatsapp that we will be having mystery makan. What a big fat lie! :party1:

Thank God BFF believed cos she’s quite smart. I kept telling David and the girls she’s damn smart via Whatsapp. So we must have a foolproof plan to bluff her haaha! Then, I lied that I will be late to give David ample time to prepare his stuff at home. Thanks lor, ended up I didn’t get the chance to go Lush with them. :tongue2:

Suggested by David, we brought her to Yakitori Enmaru at ION. The reason why he chose this place is cos there’s this huge door curtain at the entrance, he can hide behind it and not be seen. Unfortunately, the stupid waiter gave us a table like frigging close to the entrance and then I panicked. Like damn! :angry: But thank god she sat inside lol. We started ordering our food and I think she started getting worried, cos they ain’t cheap. But her BF’s paying for it mah whahahaha! :smileyhappy3:

After which, I cue David that we are ready and I told Fidelis to take a photo for us but in fact she’s recording everything down (last minute plan again :confused: ). Here’s the video!

Pre-Valentine Celebration with the Bitches


The title says it all. :tongue2: We did a Valentine’s Day gift exchange and had so much fun. That’s not all. The girls surprised me with the nail polish collection from Deborah Lippmann OH MA GAWD! Think I super not shy to ask on Twitter lololol! Anyway, I love it very much woohoo! :love3: Thank you ladies. :cloud9:

Ok I’m done for now. I have tons of beauty products to review (oops!) and totally looking forward to Super Show 4!!! Darn eggcited! It’s my 27th birthday today! Boss brought me out for a sumptuous dinner at Gyu-Kaku last weekend. He made an absolute right choice! :love4:


Here’s my outfit breakdown! :) Just got a new hair color and decided to grow out my fringe. I braided my fringe to keep it away from my face. You know how annoying it can get. I love how it turns out. :tongue2:


We took their Warai set as recommended by their staff. It’s gonna be my new favorite eatery! The food is good, every dish is well-marinated and their staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They would walk around every table, making sure that everything is in place. They even took care of little details like shifting my glass when it got into my way. Absolutely 5-star service.

I love every dish! But if I had to choose, my favorite would be their Horenso salad, teriyaki chicken, lamb chop, kimchi and the sinful Gyu-Kaku ice cream! Super satisfying! You would be surprised that the atmosphere is non-smoky and non-greasy. We totally enjoyed ourselves, it’s worth every penny. *rubs tummy*

  • Made a major career switch to the beauty industry.
  • Planned a poker-themed birthday celebration for Boss. Even bought him a new iPad 2, which is with me now haha! :shutup:
  • Had my first flea market with BFF.
  • Got more pretty clothes by my apparel sponsor, TheBlogShop.
  • First baking session with the girls! :dessert17:
  • Turned into a victim of DBS debit card fraud. :disgust: Thank God I managed to get my money back!
  • Attended Lady Gaga’s performance for the first time, all thanks to BFF, Nuffnang and SingTel.
  • Finally obtained my Class 3 driving licence, after procrastinating for erm… 8 years? :tongue2:
  • BFF and I had our Girls Gone Wild in KL trip without the boys! Woohoo!
  • After 4 years, we finally got engaged. He popped the question on our 4th year anniversary. :love2:
  • Met Kim Hyun Joong for the second time. I was right in front and he chose the gift that I bought for him ????~! On cloud nine! :cloud9:
  • Did indoor sky diving for the first time! Though not the real one, but still it’s extremely thrilling! :laugh:
  • Attended 2PM and Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)! 2PM is my favorite Korean boy band, totally love them! Wish I had bought the mosh pit ticket though. *smacks head* :(: MAMA was the best cos I bought mosh pit ticket and was standing less than 2m away from Suju, SNSD, Beast, KHJ and all! Like OMGEE! They are like right in my face! I can die happy now. :smileyhappy3:
  • Got our flat! :love3: After like a gazillion tries. Can’t imagine we have to pay the loan for 20 over years. Slaves for HDB! :blah:

2PM Hands Up Asia Tour


Omo~ finally got to see my favorite Kpop boy group 2PM! Totally love their music and dance styles. Their songs are super catchy! Didn’t managed to go for their hi-5 event though cos it’s frigging far and falls on a weekday fml! :(:


The finale was awesome! Both Taecyeon and Chansung started taking off their tops lol! One lucky girl managed to grab the tee that Taecyeon threw towards her. She was like screaming at the top of her lungs hahaha! I think I might do that too if Wooyoung threw his. :shutup: I hope I’ll be able to see them again! :love4:

Mnet Asian Music Awards

This has got to be the best concert I have ever went! All thanks to my friend, I managed to purchase a Pen B ticket. I went to stalk them the day before but only managed to see Park Bom lol. Missed the chance to see Park Ji Hoo, who happened to be at MBS too. :alamak:

On the day itself, I went to queue with my friend at 630am. Her friends started queuing up 2 days before the concert so we went to take over them. Super tiring and lethargic and the attitude of the staff didn’t help much. They were extremely rude and treated us like juveniles. Anyway, we were made to wait under the hot sun for more than 12 hours. You know how frustrating it is when some idiots rather go by the book than using their pathetic brains to think.

Come to think of it, everything’s worth the wait! We were standing less than 2m away from the artistes’ sitting area! Look at da awesome pictures I’ve taken! :smileyhappy3:

Unfortunately, the security stopped us from taking photos 20 minutes to the show. Damn double standard! :angry: But still, I went home feeling extremely happy. :love1: Wished 2PM and Big Bang were there though!

Power Plate at Selective Fitness


Selective Fitness is a specialized boutique Power Plate fitness studio located at one of the shophouses along Tanjong Pagar Road. BFF and I were invited for the trial classes to experience their intense workout. What’s so unique is their Power Plate machines which vibrates throughout the workout and helps to improve blood flow and tone the muscles.

We were like screaming for mercy almost every lesson lol. At times, I couldn’t even feel my arms or legs anymore. With the help from Chris, the personal trainer, I managed to push myself to the limit. At the end of each lesson, my legs start to ache and it gets worse the next day. The aches took a few days to go away and I can feel that my muscles are more toned! I’d probably need more lessons to see an improvement. :)

Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2012


It’s coming to the end of 2011! I went to Suntec City for the wishing sphere project organized by Marina Bay. This year, 20,000 of the wishing spheres, all marked with the hand-written wishes made by Singaporeans, will be floated onto the waters and become come part of a visual arts installation at Marina Bay – the Bay of Hope and Light.

Halloween at Universal Studios


My photo editing not bad right? Spooky eh? :tongue2: This year’s Halloween was spent at Universal Studios. It’s my 3rd time there lol! I swear this win hands down all other Halloween events I’ve been to.

Walk along the eerie streets and some random undead will scream at you. The haunted house was the scariest of all and we had to queue for 45 minutes. It was worth the wait though. There were like dead bodies hanging in mid-air and you can’t avoid body contact at all fml.

Journey of Indulgence with Haagen-Dazs


Thanks to Smith, I got onboard the Haagen-Dazs’s Journey of Indulgence with BFF, CCB and Tiphanie. There were free flow of Haagen-Dazs ice cream, champagne and chocolates. *yummeh* What a lovely experience!

Last year, I attended BonJapan’s media event held at SMU. Nearly a year later, they had expanded and opened a retail store at Orchard Central! What you can find in the store are exclusive snacks, soft toys, figurines and lots more! I love the kids beer and edamame pie soup, damn unique and really yummy! This happened a couple of months back. But I thought I should at least blog about it. Yes, I went crazy over KHJ again. TheFaceShop (TFS) got pretty smart this time round. We have to spend S$160 of TFS products, then purchase his album at S$15.90 (even more expensive when I preorder it) to get a scratch-and-win card.

There are 3 types of cards – Admission, Autograph and Photo-taking. The thing is, I don’t mind spending the money since I do use TFS products. However, there were some dispute going on after the fan meet which I shan’t elaborate further. All I can say is the person in charge of the Facebook page is a loser. Don’t get involved with social media if you can’t handle criticisms. * sarcasm* :blah:

Anyway, I got the autograph pass on my second try. I couldn’t believe my eyes and kept looking at it to make sure that the “Autograph Pass” words didn’t disappear LOL! :laugh:


I went on a last minute spending spree and sourced for suitable gifts for him. After which, we were being ushered into the fan meet location. Managed to stand right in front of the stage! *jumps in joy* :doraemon5:


Took tons of photos and I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He’s releasing 2 more albums at the end of the year (already bought one – Lucky) and is coming back to Singapore next year to hold a concert! CAN’T WAIT! :happy2:


He was told to pick 3 of his favorite gifts and he picked mine – Best Lover plaque! :smileyhappy3: I was SOOOOO EXCITED LOL! :cloud9: After which, we went up to the stage group by group to get his album signed and I get to touch his finger (accidentally)! :smileyhappy3:

All in all, I don’t think this event is well planned. Those staff randomly threw our gifts around and mine got mixed up. Then, they disallowed us to shake hands with him. Even the fans in Malaysia have better treatment than us. :blank: Also, DJ Ah Ken from 100.3 is the most annoying DJ ever. Boring, irritating and never refresh his jokes at all. :angry:

Given his character, I would never ever thought that he can come up with such a way to propose to me, everything was really well planned. Smart move by him, can “chope” me first. :blah:

Also, a big thank you to his friends that made everything possible. They are extremely spontaneous. :thumbsup:

Wedding bells? Not so soon. Our priority is the flat and it’s getting harder each year to get that chance. Please wish us luck. :)

And BBQ + steamboat would be the perfect match! BFF was telling me how awesome Thai steamboat is, but I never got the chance to try it. Finally I did! :smileyhappy3:


Overall, the food was awesome. I was pretty fascinated by the traditional way of cooking by using charcoal. The pork lard was then being placed on the dome-shaped grill which will melt and flow down to the soup broth. The meat and other items were barbecued on the grill. It was really fun to flip them around. :laugh:


Went off to TCC and surprised Noi with a slice of cake and present for her birthday. Can’t wait for our next meet up! :love4:
