[Review] Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate

Sorry for the lack of updates. Have been under a lot of stress lately and suffered from insomnia for the past few days. :( Am trying to be more positive and hopefully, everything will be back on track.

Here’s a review on Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate, the latest product in the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range. It’s supposed to be a sleeping mask where you will have to apply it all over your face before you go to bed. The gel texture feels pretty much like the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX. Let’s keep that for another entry.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost event was held at Pierside @ One Fullerton, a lovely restaurant located across the shore from the towering Marina Bay Sands. We were being treated to a sumptuous dinner prior to the presentation. Feels awesome to be pampered like that :)

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate was served on a plate, how interesting :)

I’ve tested and finished the entire tub of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate and here’s my review on this product. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Olive Extract and Ionic Mineral Complex which is 10 times more moisturizing compared to a sheet mask. It helps firms up skin and reduces fine lines so you will wake up to extremely hydrated, soft and supple skin the next morning.

It has a really nice gel texture that leaves a dewy look upon application. I use quite a generous amount each time as my skin is deprived from hydration. Though recommended to use twice a week, daily usage is also suitable depending on one’s skin condition. Patting the product on your skin allows for better absorption, try it and tell me if it works. :)

The entire Hydro Boost range.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate (S$25.90, 50g) is available at all leading personal stores and pharmacies. All products are non-comedogenic, oil-free, alcohol-free and dermatologist-tested.

I did my own manicure with Mavala Candy Floss, Mavala Sparkling Violet and ended it with a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. The shade of pink really resembles the color of candy floss! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the colors. :)

[Review] FemmexFatale + Giveaway

[Sponsored Review]

I was extremely delighted to receive a lovely package from FemmexFatale. It’s an online beauty store that carries products ranging from skincare, haircare, body care products, beauty tools and many more. Every order is intricately packaged, just like mine! So pretty isn’t it? A lot of effort has been put into packaging it and I feel really special just by receiving it heh! Let’s take a look at what’s in the box!

Falsies! I’ve started to put on falsies during special occasions. This definitely comes in handy!

Pink Dress Wide-Angle Camera. How cute and it still uses 35mm films! Nostalgic!

And now, moving on to body care, skincare and haircare from FemmexFatale!

Anti-cellulite Mask and Fat Melting Cream

It’s extremely easy to use. Simply mix the Anti-cellulite Mask with water (approx 1 to 1 ratio) and apply onto your body and rinse off once dry. Then, apply the Fat Melting Cream and wait for 20 minutes.

The Fat Melting Cream targets the mesoderm, the middle layer of skin where fat deposits reside. It penetrates into the targeted area, reportedly to break down cellulite and improves the circulation of blood and lymph fluid through the area. The process “melts” the fat and allows it to be carried away and excreted by the body. Of course, regular exercise and proper control of the diet will speed up the process. This came at the right time as I will be training for my marathon soon. *gulps* I’ve only used for a couple of days. Let’s see how it goes. :)

I’M SO FAIR! Bleaching Powder

Sorry for scaring you with my picture LOL! This is a safe, gentle and effective natural product for reducing the appearance of dark discolorations on your body. It comes in a powder form and the particles are extremely fine. I just added a little bit of water, mix it and apply it all over my face. It feels a bit tight on the face and dries up pretty fast. Let it dry for approx. 10 minutes and rinse off to reveal a radiant looking skin. :) Refrain from having too much facial expressions when masking lol!

Collagen Hair Mask

The Collagen Hair Mask consists of cationic active agents, active proteins with moisturizing factors and vitamins which replenishes the hair with nutrients and water. It also contains collagen which effectively penetrates into your hair follicles and strengthens your hair follicle structures. It promotes hair growth and prevents hair loss thus make your scalp healthier and your hair well conditioned.

My hair has been chemically treated pretty often and the ends are almost damaged. I use this mask for once or twice a week, each time leaving it on for approx. 5-10 minutes. My hair will feel smoother and more manageable after treatment.
