I am extremely disappointed with NAFA

Chasing them for course commencement date, class schedule and delivering my student card was not something I had expected in the first place. Imagine they nearly took 6 months to finalize everything. What’s so difficult about doing all these? Furthermore, my student card can’t even access the lecture room at all. Almost two weeks since I started the course and they still couldn’t get this done

The lady at the Continuing Education department didn’t even inform me that I have to take two specialization courses to obtain the Advanced certificate. The sad thing is, I only took one of them. Which means I have to wait for the other course to commence again. It could mean end of this year, next year or even none at all. It all depends on whether other students have applied for the same course or not. Bah!

The lecturer even specifically told us that he needs at least 3 to 4 weeks to remember the names of each and every one of us. Surprisingly, we only have 5 students in the class. Like duh?! He’s a weird person and gets horribly excited when he showed us a print advertisement of a lady solely wearing undergarments Man, I’d still prefer Mr. William Aung being my lecturer

Sales wasn’t that great yesterday even though I did 3 for the day. My target was at least a 4 or 5 to push myself to be promoted to a trainer I was feeling extremely down due to some personal reasons and was hopping with Zac, my colleague most of the time. But at the last door, I met an extremely nice uncle, Uncle Eng and his grandson who chatted with me throughout. He’s 61, almost my dad’s age and I jokingly ask him if I could call him 干爹. He willingly agreed to it! He loved watching Taiwan hokkien drama serials and I introduced Formosa TV to him lol. We were discussing about the pros and cons about Xbox as they have one at home. I blurted out all the trade secrets to him! Hoho!

All in all, I still love my job even though sometimes I get to meet arrogant assholes and people who treated us like dirt. What do I do to appease myself?

Curse them from the bottom of my heart

Most artistic prata I’ve ever seen!

That I don’t know where to start eating it! (I looked like an idiot)

Just came back from a BBQ gathering with my colleagues, but came home earlier cos I am feeling the heat in me. I think I’m gonna get sick soon. Oh wells…

I’ve been having extremely intensive trainings for the past few weeks for my work. This is the very first time that I feel working is FUN! At least it is a lot better than the harsh working environment out there. However, some of my team members just quit and it’s such a pity for not having the chance to know them better. Nevertheless, I believe there’s always time to meet up Furthermore, I met an ex-colleague of mine and my friend’s friend through this job. My god, isn’t Singapore such a small country? Or is it because that I almost have connections everywhere?

Well, I have to complain about NAFA. I will come to that soon.

… from me! I’m finally freed from that shitty company I’m glad I walked out of the dump and wash my hands off all the dirty stuff. Initially, they refused to release me early and started telling me all about their hidden policies. I had applied for offsetting of my annual leave at least a month ago and my manager had actually approved it. But the HR refused to let me off as she said that decisions are made by the HR department and during our transition period, we are not allowed to apply for leave. I was extremely angry and told her off by telling her that these points were not even reflected in the contract in BLACK and WHITE and that she is going against the rules of MOM.

After which, she called up her HQ and told me that they had allowed me to leave early as they would review base on case to case basis. A whole load of bullshit. If I hadn’t mention about the contract and showing it right in her face, I doubt she would do so. She then started to push all the blame to my manager and said that it was all his fault. If the coordination between each department is well organized, I don’t think such problems would surface.

  • Lots of lies and contradicting issues from the management. Contradictory standard.
  • The training course provided doesn’t help much at all. They should unblock all the unnecessary stuff and give us back our Windows Live Messenger in the training room!
  • Training instructor is from XX country and she speaks broken English. Maybe she should consider changing her profession into a kindergarten teacher instead. Right~ (her favorite pet phrase which is damn irritating)
  • XX products are refurbished ones that have been sent to XX country to repair before they send it back to XX location to pass on to other customers. It’s like wearing other people’s used undies. Woah, now you know?
  • Shipments have been delayed not once, not twice, but countless times. There will always be a time frame and date given no matter how long the shipment is being delayed. I knew that cos I’ve been in the freight forwarding industry before.
  • Escalated cases are re-escalated back to the juniors to handle. So what’s the point for escalating in the first place? Aren’t we back to square one? Duh!
  • They should consider implementing the position called “Zo Bo Executive” who sits on the chair the whole day, shaking their legs while reading their emails, watching videos and happily earning an attractive remuneration every month without almost doing anything. If anyone has such a job available, please let me know asap. I am very interested!
  • Pays are being deducted in advance for applying unpaid leaves before they are being consumed. What the?!
  • Team leader don’t even bother lifting a finger to help us. She can go back home and sleep lah.
  • Customers are wayyyy too demanding. FREE repairs, FREE gifts, FREE upgrade, everything also want to be FREE. They thought they could get away with all these by complaining. Sigh.
  • Funny thing is, they even wanted us to change the policies with immediate effect. If I could, I will not be sitting in the office hearing you guys complain everyday. Use your brains and think lah.
  • Biased, biased, biased. ‘Nuff said.

Shall stop here. There are simply too many things to be listed out.

P/S: Any similarity of information is purely coincidental.

Worst Job Ever Sun, 13 January 08

Resolutions came a bit late, but nonetheless…

  • Get my driving licence
  • Get a proper full-time job and stay on for at least a year
  • Lose weight, at least 3 kgs
  • Finish up furnishing my pig sty
  • Skip 100 counts at least twice a week
  • More personal savings
  • Spend more time with my loved ones and friends
  • … and the list goes on

Stress has been extremely overwhelming for the past few weeks. Had the feeling that my health is deteriorating and my body may crumble any moment. It’s gonna be a hectic 2 years from now on. I’m feeling the burden already

I have an interview tomorrow and hopefully, what I’ve learnt in school for the past few years could be put into use for that job But first and foremost, I need to grab the chance of getting that job (though i didn’t do any preparation for it ). At least if I get that job, I don’t have to listen to angry customers complaining almost everyday and saying sorry for countless times each day It’s such a torture to me. What we’ve learnt during the training period are all bullshit. All the empathy stuff are crap. Don’t understand why do we have to endure all their nonsense, we aren’t even professional psychologists. Also, the management is taking us for granted. They wanted us to make things easy for them, but they don’t do so for us.

Can’t help it anyway. Products sucks, company sucks, policies sucks, and the people aren’t any better. The stupid team leader don’t even bother to help clear the call queue at all. All she does is to say “Guys, call queue.” and looking at the call statistics for the whole day. Duh. So much so for being the biggest software company

Customer Service? Forget it. It’s the worst job ever. And I’m not gonna step into this trade again. It’s so much better to be a consumer. At least we get to rant
