Event + Sponsored Review

It’s the tagline for the latest range from L’Oreal Paris – Revitalift White.

And the Asian spokesperson is none other than Hebe Tian (???), one of the members of Taiwanese Mandopop girl group S.H.E.

Some of the lovely ladies I met that day –
Tiphanie,
Lynn,
Joyce and
Ju Ann :love4: We had so much fun! :love3:

A chance to rediscover our creativity, we were given all sorts of materials to decorate the mirror. Everyone is uber creative lah!

This is what I came up with! Don’t pray pray hor, I won the White Perfect Micro-Vibration 3-in-1 Eye Brightener hokay! :smileyhappy3:

Look what we’ve got here! :cloud9:

Didja know that our skin starts showing signs of ageing at the age of
25? :shocked1: OMGEE 25?! Sadly, I am way past that. :blah:
The Revitalift White Day Cream SPF18 ($27.90, 50ml) is an “all-in-one” solution, designed to simultaneously address the 15 key signs of ageing in one single step:
| 1. Reduces dark spots |
6. Tightens skin |
11. Smoothens skin |
| 2. Reduces fine lines |
7. Evens skin tone |
12. Lightens skin tone |
| 3. Improves suppleness |
8. Protects against UV rays |
13. Enhances luminosity |
| 4. Reduces wrinkles |
9. Brightens complexion |
14. Softens skin |
| 5. Boosts radiance |
10. Hydrates skin |
15. Fights signs of ageing |
Just WOW! Amazing that one single product can have that many benefits and given that it’s readily available and affordable, it’s extremely helpful for ladies with very busy lifestyles (and lazy *coughs*) like myself!

On to the texture! It’s really moist and creamy, easily applied on and also contains SPF18! It leaves my skin with a nice sheen of healthy glow and keeps it hydrated all day long.
*slather lots of cream on* :smileyhappy3:
Also part of the range is the Revitalift White Essence ($34.90, 30ml). The texture appears to be lighter than the day cream and is meant to be used after toner. You will be amazed by the absorption rate!
Both products contain Pro-Retinol A, Vitamin B3 and Shea Butter which help to fight the first signs of aging, brightens as well as hydrates the skin.
The Revitalift White range is available in Watsons, Guardian, SASA, selected department stores, supermarkets & hypermarkets. Hooray to soft and supple skin! :jump:

The Anna Sui Mascara Launch Tea Party was a total flop! :argh:
Flop 1: Registration was exclusively for cotters only. However, the two ladies from Anna Sui who were handling the registration were struggling with it. Horrible coordination wtf Passersby were trying to get their way in and faking their names, claiming that they had registered via the website when their names were not found on the list. Not fair for the rest who had registered, isn’t it?
Flop 2: The counter at BHG Bugis was jam packed and I was struggling to get myself a space to try out their products but it seems like everyone was pushing one another to move around. The sales assistants were shorthanded and were not that willing to serve us at all. They had this irritated look on their face all the time wth
Why didn’t they hold this launch as a closed event instead? Isn’t it better? :shift:

See! Horrible crowd! :disbelief:
Flop 3: This was the highlight of the day, the Super Black Mascara range. But alas. It was tucked in a corner without anybody noticing. And a guy was standing there looking like a dimwit and totally clueless. So what’s the purpose of the launch, I wonder? :shift: No introduction of the launch, NOTHING at all. This seriously defeats the purpose of the whole event. It makes me wonder if they are only interested in their sales target :argh:

To prove that we were there hahaha

Though the experience was really bad for me, the only consolation was the goodie bag!

From L to R: Anna Sui’s Live Your Dream fragrance, Protective Powder Foundation, Super Black Long Lash Mascara, Protective Fluid Foundation, Control Color Primer UV :erm: I love all of them! woot
But I doubt I will attend any Anna Sui launch unless it’s a private one

All thanks to
Sabrina and Gavin, I was invited to attend the press conference of the LG Prada Asian Launch which was held at St Regis woot

The back drop and set up were done up professionally to match the style of the LG Prada

Since the success of the first LG Prada, LG and Prada collaborated again to launch the latest product – LG Prada II and Prada Link

The 3-inch touchscreen is pretty responsive even with my long nails. Unlike the first LG Prada, the LG Prada II has a QWERTY keyboard that slides effortlessly from under the handset. I can put it into use when my nails are getting in the way

It’s sleek, classy, yet versatile. Similarly to most smart phones, it’s a 3G HSDPA device with WiFi, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, Bluetooth 2.0, etc.

The Prada Link watch is drop dead gorgeous and exquisite! Even if you had forgotten about the phone, it sends you alerts for missed calls and SMSes. You can even read SMSes on the watch itself without whipping out the phone! I am liking this innovative idea =) Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with any other phones nor support voice communication. So don’t imagine it to be some fictitious Power Rangers’ watch
Tempted? Excited? Now drumroll, please…
The LG Prada phone is retailing at SGD1288 (without contract) and the Prada Link retails at SGD688. It’s targeted at the high-end consumers who are willing to spend on the fusion of technology and fashion hee
Both the phone and watch are making me drool. I would love to review this phone if I have the chance to
