Melbourne: The Twelve Apostles at Great Ocean Road

Hope I didn’t bore you too much with my Melbourne trip haha! Lots of things to share! smile

The Twelve Apostles is a major attraction in Great Ocean Road. According to the Australians, currently there are only 8 apostles left but the name Twelve Apostles still remains as a significant identity to the attraction. We dropped by at Lavers Hill for a quick lunch and took some photos before moving on to the destination.

A coffee a day keeps the cold away. Hehe! smile

It wasn’t planned but we decided to try out the 12 Apostles Helicopters since I haven’t been on a helicopter. We paid about AUD140 for a 15 minutes ride. A tad regret not trying the hot air balloon. Oh wells. An excuse to go Melbourne again! bigsmile

The flight was um… scary. uneasy It was raining the whole day and we could feel that the wind was making the heli sway throughout the flight. But I gotta admit it was all worth it though. smile The 12 Apostles, London Arch were all in perfect view. heart

Happy Boss smile

We climbed, walked and got caught in the rain just to catch a glimpse of this beautiful scenery. The hours and hours of drive is totally worth it. The lovely breeze and beautiful ocean view was spectacular. Listening to the waves crashing along the coast is extremely calming, soothing and makes me forget all my worries. Such a pity that we had to leave early as it started to pour heavily. We made our way back to our cottage and called it a day. And so… our adventure continues to Melbourne City.
