This would be the last installment of our Melbourne trip. I miss Australia! sad The hubby and I plan to visit Australia again next year with his friends, hopefully the planning goes well! bigsmile
Melbourne is well known for their cafe culture and I did a brief research on the popular restaurants I could find there.
One of the cafes I had shortlisted due to its high rating on Urbanspoon, I’m glad we had our brunch there! There was a queue when we arrived and we waited for about 10 minutes before our names were called.
The interior of the cafe has a scandi-industrial look. Though noisy with lots of chitchatting, I realized that Australians do not use their mobile phones during meals as much as Singaporeans, not complaining though! smile
The coffee is fantastic here, rich, aromatic and full of flavor. No doubt Melbourne is the city of coffee heaven! smile
Sandwiched between buttered buns and topped with slices of avocado and greens, the pulled pork was tender, juicy and flavorful. This could probably be one of the most delicious pulled pork burger! smile

It was by pure luck when I found out that 400 Gradi serves the best margherita pizza in the world after competing in the World Pizza Championships. They won it by beating 600 entrants from 35 countries! surprised I knew we had to try it! There wasn’t any queue when we were there, I guess we were lucky!
It was full house in the restaurant but we were seated fairly quickly, right at the bar counter!
Hot guys making our pizza and drinks, what’s there to complain about haha! tongue
The pizza arrived in about 15 minutes, pipping hot and with lots of cheese! All a margherita pizza had was the sauce, mozzarella and basil leaves, without being too fancy. The crust was crisp with a wonderful smoky flavor, the sauce was full of flavor and the mozzarella cheese oozes in every bite. I will never look at pizzas in the same way ever again.
