Melbourne: Traveling to Melbourne City

It was another 3-4 hours car ride to Melbourne City. Thank God the route we took back was different since it was a straight road all the way. It was the first time I am driving in a foreign land and I love the experience! The roads were really clean, non-congested and we can even view the lovely scenery along the way. This post covers Melbourne City during our visit for the last few days. smile

Lovely sky and sunset along the way! bigsmile

After returning the rented car, we went to explore Queen Victoria Market! You can shop here for fruits, veggies, local and imported gourmet foods as well as souvenirs. The government might be redeveloping that area soon, so do visit while it enters into a major overhaul!

Heard that the donuts are fantastic and I had to join in the queue to get them! bigsmile

Boss approves! smile

We spotted many graffiti art along the streets and this is one of them! How artistic! smile

At Crown Casino, and we won quite a bit! bigsmile

We visited State Library Victoria to have some photos taken. smile

Went to Chinatown to search for some Chinese food. We were quite sick having too much western food during the previous days. angry

Heard this place serves really good churros, so we popped by to try it. The chocolate sauce was extremely rich and tasty.
