Coffee lovers, do you actually know your coffee well enough? I was at Nespresso’s boutique at ION last weekend to experience and learn more about the goodness of Nespresso. Nespresso is the official coffee sponsor of Savour 2012 which was held from March 30 to April 1 at the F1 Paddock and Pit Building.

There are 3 simple steps to appreciate a good espresso –
Look,
Smell and
Taste.
First, look for the hazelnut froth called “crema” on the surface of the espresso. This layer of froth protects the aroma of the coffee.
Second, smell the aroma and enjoy it. The intensity of the aromas are preserved in the cup.
Third, taste the freshness of the coffee. There are 16 types of “Grand Crus” and each has its unique taste and aroma. I managed to sample Dulsao do Brasil, Rosabaya de Colombia and Indriya from India. Oyea, I’m a coffee convert!
For a period of 3 weeks starting 19 March, Nespresso has a digital engagement campaign whereby visitors to its site (www.channelnewsasia.com/nespresso/contest.php) can take a quiz for the chance to be 1 of 3 lucky persons to walk away with the award-winning Nespresso PIXIE machine in its latest 2012 colors. On top of that, the first 10 people submitting correct responses to each day’s quiz stand to win a $100 Nespresso voucher each. Start clicking away!
Many thanks to Nespresso and Crowd PR for the invite.

Guess what? I’ve been selected by
Casio and
Omy to take part in the Casio Sheen blogging challenge yay! :happy2: My first time ever in a blogging challenge and I’m super eggcited about it! :wink1:

The lovely ladies whom I’ve made friends with – Ai, Claire, Shine, Charmaine, Nurul, Maybelline and Christine. A bunch of really pretty and friendly ladies! We had so much fun camwhoring and giving one another tips for the interview and photoshoot hee hee! :tongue2:

The watch which was allocated to me! Love it to the max! I’ve been looking for a red watch and my dream came true yay! :love4:
Here’s what I love about the watch!

A bold red watch like the
Casio Sheen SHE-5020L-4A is the perfect accessory to make any outfit instantly feel more polished and sophisticated. It’s bold, chronograph and large face design gives a feminine and stylish appeal. The gorgeous rhinestones added a hint of wow factor to the watch and makes me feel confident while wearing it!

One of the outfits I wore that day, mad love the wine color and sequinned collar. Not sharing the other one cos I think I look horrible lol!
Follow me on Twitter and Instagram while I showcase my outfits and styles for Casio Sheen!

Lovely goodies from
Mavala!
Mavala Show Time (S$5.30 each) – a collection of dazzling top coats namely Sparkling Blue, Sparkling Red, Sparkling Gold, Sparkling Violet, Sparkling Silver and Sparkling Bronze. I love glitters!
Mavala Delicious (S$5.30 each) – the latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection namely Lemon Cream, Candy Floss, Blue Mint, Fresh Melon, Pistachio and Frozen Berry. Love these pastel shades and the names sound really yummy!
All Mavala’s nail colour are free from parabens, formaldehydes, toluene, camphore, cellophane, animal ingredients and heavy metal.
Mavala Sugar Free Lip Gloss Collection – an ultra-shiny and non-sticky product. This collection has been created to match the Delicious Colors nail polish collection. Its formula contains tiny shimmering particles of mother-of-pearl as well as grape seed oil. It also contains Vitamin E which helps to fight free radicals and prevent premature aging.

I did my own manicure with Mavala Candy Floss, Mavala Sparkling Violet and ended it with a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. The shade of pink really resembles the color of candy floss! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the colors.
Mavala can be found at BHG Century Square, Metro Woodlands, Pink Beauty, Tara apothecary and leading perfumeries.
