More often than not, I had to struggle with managing my hair. This is especially more challenging with our local weather. I visited Artistry Hair Professional, my new hair sponsor, located at International Plaza, a stone’s throw away from Tanjong Pagar MRT station to give my hair a fresh look.
Before this, my tresses were left untreated since 4 – 5 months prior and you can see that there were uneven coloring spots, dry bleached ends and the texture looks dry and frizzy. Most of the time, I had to either straighten or curl my hair so that I don’t look like some crazy woman. I would also slather on a lot of hair oil or serum to make my hair look at least decent enough to see the world.
The salon itself is spacious with comfortable leather seats. Its interior is decorated with black, wood and slightly light tones to give it an inviting look.
The part of my hair where it’s bleached still retains, so Tar, my stylist, suggested not to bleach my hair but still give it the gradient ash tone that I wanted.
Tar also recommended the Mucota Scena Treatment to combat the frizz and make my hair smoother and more manageable.
The Mucota Scena Treatment consists of 3 steps:
Step 1: Prepping the hair and scalp to make it in a better condition for treatment. This is especially good for hair which had gone through tons of bleaching/coloring, making the hair soft and moist for the next treatment.
Step 2: Repairing the damaged hair, keeping the repair elements inside the hair, allowing it to work its magic.
Step 3: Protecting cuticle and get healthier hair. It will also retain the repair elements inside the hair to give it a silkier and shinier texture.
Here is the final look! I really love the slight gradient look which looks different under various light conditions.
I did another shade recently and it has a little tinge of purple ash tone. Love this look too!
Here’s my pretty stylist Tar! Look no further if you are looking for a hair salon. smile
