Move aside Churro 101 and Mr Churro SG, IQ84 Churros is arguably the best Korean churros I have eaten thus far! tongue Even though the trip was last year, I could vividly remember the delicious churros, still deeply etched on my mind.
We’ve tried 2 flavors – honey butter and mango & ice cream. No idea what is this sorcery but honey butter is like the best combination ever! The honey butter trend started in 2014 from Japan and the craze spread to Korea, where you could find almost anything and everything with this flavour. The trend has probably died down by now. bigsmile
Anyway, back to the churros. Freshly prepared on the spot, the batter is piped into hot oil and fried till golden brown. The texture of the churros is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Glad that we chose the honey butter and mango & ice cream flavours, cos both are equally good! smile Other flavours include cream cheese, nutella, nuts, and the list goes on.
Let’s pray hard that they will open a franchise here. bigsmile
