Melbourne: Adriano Zumbo Macarons

Maracons are one of my favorite desserts due to its colorful and diverse range of flavors that you can find out there in the market. They are so cute where you could just pop one in your mouth. It’s really tough to bake the perfect macarons and so, it has also been my goal to try and bake them. One day, just one day. smile

I’ve long heard about Adriano Zumbo’s macarons in Australia and paid a visit to their outlet at Emporium Melbourne to check them out.

The Zumbarons are worth every cent! Apple Pie, Salted Butter Caramel on Toast, Pistachio, all sounds too yummy! smile The macarons are definitely better than Laduree’s, some are crunchy, chewy and light while others are buttery, salty and crispy.

I need to try Pierre Hermes next, which I regretted not buying from Hong Kong due to certain comments made by others. sad Next time perhaps!

Melbourne: 5 Reasons to Visit South Melbourne Market

I was quite surprised that I didn’t get to know South Melbourne Market earlier. There are tons of things to buy and eat there! smile With a diverse range of food, fashion and retail, it is THE place to go to, I think I would rather visit it compared to Queen Victoria Market hahaha! tongue This place is like worth revisiting multiple times. smile

Super fresh oysters

I’ve never liked oysters except for those I have tried in Bangkok and now, Melbourne! Especially those from South Melbourne Seafoods, which are absolutely fresh! Try their smoky bay oysters, which is only at $1 per oyster. Slurps! smile

Delicious seafood paella

Great paella, but not great service. The chef was such a snob but the food was good. Expect long queues for the restaurant, do opt for takeaways as it has a shorter waiting time.

Great bakes and pastries

The first thing that caught our eye was the cute guy serving us lol! tongue Their bakes were awesome, fresh, delicious and wiped out quickly.

Quirky and trendy knick knacks

Darn great place for shopping, nearly wanted lug back most of the stuff there. The designs are so quirky and pretty, rare chance to see them in Singapore or rather, pretty expensive when you do find them.

A little bit of everything

There is a little bit of everything that you need – coffee, pastries, clothes, paintings, flowers, etc. I can spend an entire day here just watching the world go by. smile
