Lavender Cottage was my favourite sightseeing location which I feel that it deserves a post on its own! smile We didn’t include this in our itinerary but our driver told us that we will regret if we didn’t, so we obliged. bigsmile
Thank god we went! The blooming season is usually from November to April and we were lucky to be able to witness the pretty lavender blooms when we were there. heart
Enjoying our ice cream at the lavender field. heart The lavender ice cream is a must try! Its intense flavour makes the dessert extremely unique, there are bits of jelly (tastes like atap seed) which are really nice to munch on. I need to find a recipe for this! I’ve never tried good lavender ice cream before so this is really a delightful dessert. smile
There are stores to buy souvenirs back home, things like soaps, essential oils, scent bags, cutleries, just to name a few. We only bought a scent bag home as most of the items are too expensive.
We spotted this unique postage service where you could send a postcard home according to the dates that were stated on the mailboxes. We chose 14 Feb 2018 but it came earlier than expected lol! We received it around 3 months after our trip. That spoils the whole surprise. sad
There was also a wishing well to write our wishes and we decided to hang our wishes at the top of the tree and rang the bell after that. Pretty fun and innovative.
Do reserve about 1 hour of your time to explore Lavender Cottage, you will not regret it. smile
