Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Introduction

Last October when the BFF and I were in Seoul, we walked around the entire Myeongdong to search for this lip sleeping mask but we were told that it was sold out everywhere. It was part of the sleeping mask range from Laneige which was extremely popular. In the end, we found it at Changi Airport’s duty free haha! We bought it at around $21, a $6 savings from local stores.

Packaging

The bottle itself is matte frosted and designed in an ombre shade of pink. The nifty bottle is lightweight enough to be carried around during staycations or while traveling.

Application

The mask comes with a tiny spatula which is made with a rubber-like material. While it is extremely useful for hygiene purposes, I find it more convenient if I were to just dip my finger into the bottle to pick up the mask. More so when I just want to quickly finish my beauty regime after a long day.

Texture

The mask itself is waxy and jelly-like, almost like pudding. Application was a breeze as it melts upon touch when I tried to apply it on my lips using my fingers.

After Thoughts

I own lots of lip balm but this is by far my favorite product that functions way better than just a lip balm. Sometimes I would leave it on overnight and my lips still feels extremely moisturized the next day. This is like the holy grail for people who experience chapped lips all the time, like myself. I have to say that I cannot go to bed without applying this. Let’s hope for more luscious looking lips! bigsmile

Review: Mentholatum Lip Pure Range

Sponsored Review

Longing for soft and kissable lips? It’s uber important to keep your lips moisturized all the time. Mentholatum recently sent me two of their latest lip products – Lip Pure Honey Lemon Lip Gel and Lip Pure Fragrance Free Lip Balm to review. They have another variant which is Orange (not shown here).

Honey Lemon Lip Gel and Fragrance Free Lip Balm

Made from all natural ingredients, the Mentholatum Lip Pure range is extremely suitable for people with sensitive lips!

  • 100% natural, food-grade ingredients
  • Emollient, soothing and softening properties
  • Antioxidants of Vitamin E and Grape Seed Oil
  • Contains Shea Butter Oil, Almond Oil, Aloe Vera Extract and Jojoba Oil
  • No preservatives and colorants
  • Formulated with a gentle beeswax formulation

Lip Pure Fragrance Free Lip Balm – Comes in a convenient stick form, simply twist and apply. Totally fragrance free and application is extremely smooth, without tugging the skin at all.

Lip Pure Honey Lemon Lip Gel – This is my personal favorite! The smell of the honey and lemon is extremely pleasant. The clear gel leaves the lips extremely glossy and moisturized. It doesn’t feel too sticky either.

Honestly, these two products came at the right time. Recently, I realized that my lips seemed to be darkening. =( Totally panicked and I went to do research on lips lightening and found out that ingredients like lemon, almond and butter seemed to be able to help! Well, all three ingredients can be found in the Lip Pure range woohoo! I started to apply it even when I am at home hahaha!

Mentholatum Lip Pure retail at S$7.90 each and is available at Watsons, Guardian, Fairprice and all major supermarkets and departmental stores.
