Melbourne: Adriano Zumbo Macarons

Maracons are one of my favorite desserts due to its colorful and diverse range of flavors that you can find out there in the market. They are so cute where you could just pop one in your mouth. It’s really tough to bake the perfect macarons and so, it has also been my goal to try and bake them. One day, just one day. smile

I’ve long heard about Adriano Zumbo’s macarons in Australia and paid a visit to their outlet at Emporium Melbourne to check them out.

The Zumbarons are worth every cent! Apple Pie, Salted Butter Caramel on Toast, Pistachio, all sounds too yummy! smile The macarons are definitely better than Laduree’s, some are crunchy, chewy and light while others are buttery, salty and crispy.

I need to try Pierre Hermes next, which I regretted not buying from Hong Kong due to certain comments made by others. sad Next time perhaps!

Review: L’Oreal Miss Candy Collection

Sponsored Review

The limited edition Miss Candy collection by L’Oreal will certainly sweep you off your feet with their sweet pastel shades! This collection features a selection of Infallible eyeshadows and swirly lip glosses with extremely fun and pop colors. You may realize that the eyeshadows are housed in the same pots as the Infallible collection which was launched in May. I love these eyeshadows as they are incredibly pigmented and shimmery!

Here I have the 032 Sassy Marshmallow, 036 Naughty Strawberry (S$14.90 each) and 703 Miss Marshmallow ($15.90 each) for review.

032 Sassy Marshmallow

Sassy Marshmallow is a lovely shade of icy silver with blue, pink, purple tones in it, giving it a more dimensional look. It’s super wearable and can be worn subtly as an eyeshadow base or heavier for a more glamorous look.

036 Naughty Strawberry

Naughty Strawberry is a lovely shade of pink with specks of gold in it. Usually I would try to avoid pink shades as much as possible as I have cool undertones, but this shade is too pretty to resist.

703 Miss Marshmallow

The formula for the Glam Shine range is fairly thick, creamy and easy to apply. Their unique patented heart-shape applicator adds more volume and makes the lips look more pouty with a glossy finish. The lip gloss is very moisturising to use on its own, which I think you don’t even need to apply lip balm underneath. I have a love-hate relationship with the scent of this lip gloss, the subtle peachy scent smells wonderful but I would subconsciously lick it off from my lips. Can’t complain though! =D

My LOTD with all 3 products. =)

The Miss Candy collection will be available till end of this month at selected Watsons. If you love candies, macarons and cakes, then this collection is definitely for you. Do get them quick before they are all snapped up again. Thanks for reading! smile
