Do you like your greens? Well, I do and I feel that they can be quite tasty when cooked with the right ingredients and topped with delicious dressings. From 23 – 29 November, 17 restaurants spanning cuisines such as Balinese, French, Italian, Indian and Mediterranean will feature 4-course lunches and dinners from participating restaurants to showcase every chef’s culinary innovations at Gourmet Greens Week, proudly presented to you by FIJI Water and Chope.
The Asian Kale Salad by Afterglow was thoughtfully prepared and the ingredients used are non-processed, organic and naturally sweet. It was refreshing and bursting with flavors from the candied almond, kale, tofu cubes, topped with rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, olive oil, lemon zest and sesame dressing.
This modern izakaya is located at the bustling Chinatown district. With the ambience perfect for after-work drinks, Neon Pigeon would be serving Miso Roasted Pumpkin Rice. Sounds delicious already isn’t it? With simple ingredients like sugar snap peas, crispy garlic and egg yolk, the texture is pretty close to a risotto and totally warms the belly with every bite.

Rich in protein, Quinoa & Beetroot Falafel by Luxe Sydney is a pretty unique vegetarian dish. According to the chef, this can replace carbs and won’t make you feel too guilty after eating it.
Alphonso Mango Kulfi from Song of India is a very popular frozen dairy dessert from India made from Alphonso mango, which is considered to be among the most superior variety of mangoes. The consistency and texture of the kulfi was really good and absolutely refreshing. Definitely the perfect dessert to end an all-veggie meal.
