Crab & Crepes Buffet at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

If you are looking to feast on delectable crab dishes, look no further! Azur at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is offering a special weekend-only dinner buffet from now till 29 November! The buffet spread by Executive Chef Kiang Siang Heng features a distinctive East meets West approach where you will get to savour crabs and crepes!

Appetisers and Soups

If you are craving for some roast duck, do check out the roast duck station where the crepes are freshly prepared and drizzled with hoisin sauce. For cheese lovers, be sure to check out the cheese platter for a thoughtful selection of cheese. For the soups, they have the Asian-style Hot and Sour Crabmeat Soup and the Western King Crab Bisque with Lemon Cream both accompanied by a choice of whole meal bread and baguette.

Seafood Bar, Sashimi and Sushi

From the seafood bar, take your pick from Spanner Rock Crabs, Cold Alaska Crab Claws, Cold Stone Crabs, Poached Tiger Prawns or Freshly Shucked Oysters. Choose from a specially concocted fragrant coriander dressing or mandarin orange compote to go with the fresh seafood. I always start my meal with seafood and it was quite shiok gobbling them down, especially the crab legs hehe! Help yourselves at the sushi station where there are Snapper, Tuna, Salmon and Tako sashimi, Ikura Salmon Roe Sushi Rolled with Crepe, assorted Nigiri Sushi and Maki and Cha Soba with Mud Crab Roe and Unagi.

Hot Asian and Western Crab Dishes

Crab fans can return to find Wok Fried Cereal Crab, Salted Egg Crab, Black Peppercorn Crab, Singapore Chilli Crab and Curry Crab. You will also find an array of dishes such as Deep-fried Crab Meat Tofu with Leek and Oyster Sauce, Deep-Fried Softshell Crab with Thai Coriander Chilli and Crayfish and Blue Sea Prawn and Minced Chicken in Rendang style. For those who are looking for Western options, there are Saffron Rice with Tomato Crab, Baked Whole Barramundi Fish with Crab Meat Herbs Crust, BBQ Sri Lanka Crab, Crispy Dungeness Crab Cakes with Chestnuts in Mango-Pineapple Salsa and Steamed Stone Claw with Zesty Orange Horseradish Sauce.

There is also a crepe station that allows you to select from several savoury crab fillings like Curry Mayonnaise Crab, Sambal Dry Shrimps Crab, Crab Meat Goulash, Honey Pineapple Chicken and Crab and Snow Crab Wasabi and the Crepe Suzette where you can pick up a hot dessert of delicious French pancake in orange butter sauce.
