Cingjing 清境 was our next stop after we left Taichung. We checked into one of the most popular villas, Misty Villa 雲濛仙境. We made our plans to stay here for 1 night just to see what it has in store for us. It might be a little too rush but I wasn’t too fancy about the lodging so there wasn’t too much of a regret.
Given the price that we paid for the villa, I don’t think it’s really worth the money. But the staff offered to bring our luggage for us as we had to climb a few flights of stairs before reaching our room.
We headed off to Green Green Grassland 青青草原 the next morning. We had a little luck and found some cherry blossom trees along the way, took a long and slow walk from one end to the other.
We took a stroll and walked down 487 steps before heading off for lunch!
Lunch was at Inako Scenic View Cafe 伊拿谷景觀咖啡餐坊 where we tried their signature dish Earthen Jar Roasted Chicken. We were given gloves as the chicken was served piping hot. They did not chop it up for us so as to retain the juices in the meat. We also ordered fried shrimp, stir-fried cabbages, carrot & corn soup and fried egg with basil leaves to complete the meal.
The hubby found his castle! Nah, just happened that he has the same surname as the owner lol! bigsmile We left for Taipei after that, which I’ll be sharing in my next few posts.
